We don’t have a whole lot of options for food in west Kelowna but I’ve been sleeping on this restaurant for far too long! Amazing portions for the prices, our food came out steaming (as you can see) and incredibly flavourful, their in house smoked salmon is delicious and fresh. I am VERY picky about sushi and have tried every sushi place in the valley. Yamato West Kelowna is my favourite. They have very high quality Atlantic salmon and are always accommodating of my requests. Fast service and fresh, delicious sushi.

Unfortunately this location has gone downhill. Staff are always friendly, food is average and the atmosphere isn’t great.My specific complaints with the atmosphere is some of the cleaning/general condition of things. For example, The glass globe lights hanging from above are caked in dust.As far as food goes, it’s ok.
