A group of us ate here this afternoon (Sunday) at about 1:30 PM. Fair number of customers but not too busy. This was our third visit here. As usual, clean & tidy restaurant, friendly staff, small but clean WC. We ordered five different dishes (see pics). Everyone in the group agreed all were good tho the rib dish was a bit small for the price and one person found one of the dumplings dry (but no one else did). So aside from those minor items, another great visit.

I was thrilled finding Lao Cai Chinese Cuisine in West Van. I stopped and enjoyed the great food accompanied with a tsingtao. A must try when in the Ambleside area. Patio seating area available.
One of the best cuisines I've ever had. The spicy dumpling and lamb and cumin noodles are a dish I will enjoy for as long as you're still making food.
