“Went here last night for the first time with a group for my birthday dinner and had such a great experience!! Nathan was our server and he was so lovely, made sure our group was well looked after the entire evening. Drinks and food were fabulous. The only unfortunate thing is the kitchen was out of all the mains except the chicken, so it was a shame we didn’t get to try anything else. I was super looking forward to the Ciopinno. BUT, we will definitely be back and hope to try those others items next time.“

“This restaurant is family run and it shows. We came in at the end of the night with the restaurant being near closing, though he couldn't allow us to eat-in the owner did allow us to order carryout.
While we waited he regaled us with stories of the history of the restaurant and area.

“When you want to get a refill or pay, just walk up to the staff because staffs rarely check on the customers after they placed their orders. Clean restrooms. Neat menu design. Great atmosphere. So many flavors to choose from! My favorite flavor is the Italian Roasted Red Pepper! Don't expect it to be spicy, but it smells good!
Don't try Bobby wings without preparing medication like TUMS (advice from a Thai).“

“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish.We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. We also had the donuts.. don’t forget about those. Im still dreaming of them. Highly recommend — a truly unforgettable meal!“

“Easy, fast, healthy meal in the Royal Centre food court.Grab a container and serve yourself, eat there or they'll give you a bag to take away.They have a wide variety of toppings: lettuce, spinach, carrots, cucumbers, radish, chicken, tuna, chickpeas, beets, avocado, cabbage, tomato, herbs, etc. There are plenty of spices and dressings as well.It's pay-by-weight. “We had tried great options in the past at this establishment, today we ordered a roll and some rice to go, everything was really good, the rice had big pieces of tofu and the taste was really good, in general mostly all the food at granville island is bit expensive and this place is not the exception, but it was good!“

“Great pizza with some unique topping/flavor combinations. Their pizza by the slice are cut into sixth so they're larger than some other places. Staff are super friendly and I was greeted with a smile each time I was there. Prices are reasonable and they have deals online/in store. Takeout is the way to go as the place is tiny with only a few seats and a counter inside. The place can be hard to find as it's sandwiched between a Starbucks and Subway. There's around 10 parking spots out front.“

“We walked in and asked for a table for four and was told that we had a 35 minute wait. I went on to open table and there is a reservation available immediately for five minutes later, I reserved it. & walked back up to the hostess told her I had a reservation now and she then continued to make me wait another 12 minutes before taking me to my table and this is after I asked when my reservation would be honored. The hostess also had way too much perfume on in an overheated foyer, which caused all of us to be a little offset by the environment.“

“Exploring Calgary, we came across Meat & Bread and decided to try the Feature sandwich & the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were incredible, but it was the amazing staff that made it experience a great one. Friendly, super accommodating & gave us extra pickles & sauces to try. Our waiter Mathias was very nice and helped us choose our drinks and food.
Their Mocha Espresso Martini and Aperol Sour were the best!
We started with burrata as an appetizer and continued with Mortadella pizza (Mamma Mia pizza) and Agnolotti - sooo good!!!
We ended the perfect evening with pistachio tiramisu, which I really enjoyed!
The only thing was that it was our anniversary, so we got our main course before I had finished my appetizer, so by the time I started eating my main course, it was already quite cold...“

“We found this cafe in the late afternoon of a Saturday. We needed an energy boost after walking around Granville Island. We go to Granville Island quite often, but we have never been to this side and have never noticed this cafe.

We ordered a coffee, a cookie and a tart. Everything tasted great, but they were priced towards the higher range.

The interior design looked good, too. However, towards the closing hours, the cafe might not look its best in terms of tidiness. There was a lady having a video cal behind me, and she was quite loud. She also played her hair at the same time, so much so that her hands touched my head a few times, which was quite annoying. Not the fault of the cafe, though. Perhaps if the chair was not placed so close to me, it could have helped.

In a higher end cafe like this, I did not expect people being loud like that. However, I am not a regular to cafes, so I do not have an idea of how people normally behave.“

“The service was really nice, the restaurant is a little small and there is often lineup. The $10 deal during September was really good value!! There is not much beef but it was very tasty and the quantity of noodles is a lot! Also they have garlic chips and other vinegar/oil to add. They were out of melon sofa so I got calpico soda and it had a lemon in it so u was surprised but it was pretty good! Not much ice cream in it though. There is a free ice cream at the end if you sign up for a free membership.“

“The location of this restaurant is very convenient. The exterior of the restaurant is good. The interior feels like a home. The food feels like home cooked. Not bad! Too much vegetables on the a la carte menus, and I think donburi would suit me better. The rice on the salmon maki tastes too dry, and the seaweed was chewy instead of dry & crispy. I would stick with cooked food & deep fried items.“

“The food here is exceptional melt in the mouth beef Short ribs with polenta, all of us tried it and wished we'd ordered it too! I had the pear and walnut salad with the belly pork and was not disappointed. We had the burrata and prosciutto starter but didn't get the chance to take a pic as it was devoured 😋 the pizzas are like Sicilian pizzas light full of flavour and prepared with love. I didn't get to try the mac and cheese that was gone in seconds but my nephew loved it and asked to come back with us ❤️ I had a brownie that had all the indulgence of a brownie but so light, hubby had Mandarin sorbet which delivered on every note, nephews had tiramisu and lemon mousse and that didn't touch the sides. We really can't wait to come back to Sprezzatura they made us feel so welcome with a relaxed service“

“This is an excellent neighbourhood sushi restaurant. We come here at least once a week. We have been doing so for years. Although ownership has changed over the years the food and service have only gotten better. We love Kelly our sever. She is always upbeat, cheerful and funny. It is always a pleasure coming here for the excellent sushi and atmosphere.“

The onion rings on the other hand were not great. They could maybe use a little shaker seasoning as I found them somewhat bland and flavorless. All in all this was a great place to eat, price was fair for the portion size and would definitely eat here again.“
