The smoked salmon bannock panini and smoked salmon chowder are delicious! Located downstairs of the Squamish lilwat cultural center, small seating area so we did takeout. Friendly service although a bit slow since there were not many staff, but definitely worth the wait!
Beautiful building that we've only driven by on past visits. So glad we finally decided to stop for coffee and a look. The espresso here is perfectly rich and smooth with cocoa notes. Lunch was excellent as well; we had the venison chilli, carrot and jalapeño soup, and bannock pastry...and I'd return for all of the above. Next time we'll leave time to visit more exhibits.
Every time my mom and I go to Whistler we always go for lunch at the Thunderbird Cafe. The salmon chowder and bannock is something we look forward to…. Hands down the best chowder and bannock we’ve ever had! Love this place!
