Odd Burger Opens Three New Canada Locations

Odd Burger, a popular Canadian vegan chain, is expanding across the country with three brand new restaurant openings.

Two of these locations have already welcomed their first customers. On May 11th, Odd Burger opened its doors in Edmonton, Alberta at 336A Mayfield Common Northwest. Then on May 18th, the chain debuted in British Columbia with a restaurant at 790 Fisgard Street in downtown Victoria. This location has indoor seating for 16, an outdoor patio, and street parking.

Next up is Odd Burger's very first location in Ontario's capital city, Ottawa. This new restaurant at 1050 Bank Street is set to open around June 1st. It will feature plenty of interior seating, a large patio area, and delivery service to nearby Carleton University students.

Once this third location opens, Odd Burger's total will increase to 16 restaurants across Canada. James McInnes, the co-founder and CEO, is really excited about these opening, saying "These sites are all incredibly strategic for us and will give Odd Burger access to key markets right across Canada. We believe they will service a key demographic for us and will open a lot of growth possibilities."

The expansion also comes as Odd Burger partners with the Ahimsa Foundation, an important vegan industry investor.

In other restaurant news, popular burger chain Shake Shack announced plans to open its first-ever Canadian location. It will take over a prime 5,500 square foot corner space at the iconic Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto.
