“Had our food delivered, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. But the burgers and fries we got were great! I particularly loved the Well D'Onion burger; the spicy ranch had flavorful kick with just a little tingly on the lips, not burning your mouth off. Good stuff. Totally will get food there again as I want to try a shake too.“

“1st time in an in-n-out burger being from the Midwest. It was a pretty good burger, I'm sure because I got it plain it detracts from what the whole experience of Animal Style I hear about is but I would say overall it's a great fast food burger buttery grilled buns, super melt cheese, and two thin (almost smash) patties doesn't get much better. The fries were also super fresh and hand cut right in the store. I got a chocolate shake as well. The only thing I didn't like was the paper straw it was served with, but the shake itself was good.“

“Food was absolutely delicious. Service felt like you were well taken care of. And the ambiance is very chilled and laid back with tvs of either random sports or other various shows, along with amazing artwork of various heroes. Not just military but firefighters and police officers. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and fries. They were all sold separately. But nonetheless they were all delicious. I highly recommend this place.“

“Food was really good. I'm new to eating this way and was stoked to find this little place. The staff were very nice and patient while I figured out what to eat. The chef (owner?) brought out the breakfast burrito I ordered and made sure I had everything I needed. Honestly don't have much to compare it to but, it had great flavor and texture. Nice to have a place I know I can get a good meal when I'm working near Carlsbad.“

“Brewery and restaurant in a large open space. Kid and dog friendly.Good parts of our visit:- Food was good. We had the blackened mahi tacos, which were delicious. Highly recommended. We also had the wagyu burger which was fine, but the selling point of the burger is the beef and any flavor of the beef was overwhelmed by the gruyere and gorgonzola cheese and a ton of arugula: I would recommend getting other burgers and not paying for the wagyu, as the flavor is hidden.- The waitstaff. We had Michelle, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and overall an excellent server. High marks.The weaker parts of our visit- The wait. We were seated quickly, but after that, service started to really lag. My guess is that they were down a server: there were two for a large space and, for instance, it took 10-15 minutes just to get our check and pay when we were ready to leave. Normal times might not have this issue.- The beer. It was...fine. I had a flight for CBC's own beers (a dark lager, a pale ale, an IPA, and a stout). None stood out. For those who aren't fans of current trends in double dry-hopping everything, this place can work, as the beers were all pretty mild, but none of the CBC-specific beer was particularly memorable or noteworthy. That said, they do have a massive beer selection from many different brewers, so this might just be what we tried.“

“Amazing place. Top notch food. They were so nice too. We brought our dog (pug) and were able to sit outside. They were super patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. If you just want a nice place to get some breakfast - this is your go-to for the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. I wish we were native to the area so I can go more often!“

“Stopped here today for breakfast and my friend wanted to have lunch. I got the pancakes with scrambled eggs and potatoes, it was pretty good. My friend got an Impossible burger and subbed the fries with onion rings which she said was very good. She also got crispy green beans which it tried and were good. The one thing that bothered me the most was that when she went to put her green beans on a plate the bottom of the container has red cabbage stuffed in the bottom to make it look like it was filled with the green beans.These 2 meals with the tip came to $71.00!!!Restaurants are getting crazy with their prices. ?“

“Our family is in town for two weeks on a little vacation type trip. We have been here twice in the first few days. The food is so delicious. We have had the bbq burger, cosmo fries, the chicks (regular chicken tenders), hot dog, and all have been so good. We definitely recommend trying this place if you stop in at the windmill food hall. They are also listed for delivery on the delivery apps. The windmill food hall also has a little arcade type area which our kiddo really enjoyed.“

“Not one to write reviews but this place is so great! Our office is closing and I am bummed I won't be around as much. The fried pickles with ranch are absolutely amazing. The grilled chicken sandwich was crazy fresh and juicy. Employees are also awesome everytime. Highly recommend for lunch! Great prices too.“

“It was a bit of a wait about 20 - 30 mins which is totally normal for a Saturday I feel, however when we were seated the server was amazing and was very knowledgeable about the dishes, Food was really good, and it was how we ordered them. Really good spot!“

“Bushfire Kitchen is my go to, local healthy home-cooked, yet quickly prepared restaurant. My favorite dinner that I tend to order almost always, is the grilled salmon, garlic mashed potatoes & grilled brussel sprouts. Or, pilaf rice & sweet potatoes or quinoa super greens salad with grilled salmon on top. My husband & son love the Tri-tip beef with chimichurri sauce & yummy focaccia. The macadamia nut, choco chip cookies are a delicious treat. I sometimes buy their empanadas for breakfast. Customer service is friendly & helpful.“

“I picked up a bagel next door this morning and wanted to come back and try out the burger place. I came back during dinner time and it was packed. The bar was full and I wanted something more quiet. They put me in the outside seating area. The decor is very rustic and the music was all 80's rock. Perfect. I ordered the mushroom burger and my server recommended doing it with a double smash burger. I'm glad she did. The burger looked great along with the truffle fries. The fries were fantastic. Great flavor and the parm helped balance them. The bun had a sweetness to it and over all the flavors were on point. The server and staff were attentive and great. All around good visit and would definitely come back.“
