“This is a solid poke spot that is really unique because they also sell boba. I noticed that a lot of Boba places in San Diego actually sell something else in addition to the drink, like popcorn and candy, or crepes. I found that to be pretty interesting. The food here seem to be good fish quality but the sauce is to me were a little bit on the bland side. I still enjoyed the meal and the milk tea quality was just okay.“

“The hotel suggested I go to Fish District for good local seafood. They were spot on. I ordered the Combo Box which came with fish shrimp and fries. Not only is the batter good enough to make you get every bit, but the homemade sauces were perfect. If you don't eat shrimp tails, you will gnawl the batter off like a dog chews a bone. The staff was friendly and helped this first-timer with his order. I will definitely be back to try more from their menu.“

“Fresh and Delicious Hawaiian Poke in San Diego

For my first meal in San Diego, I chose Hawaiian poke, and it was the perfect choice! I had salmon and spicy tuna over brown rice, topped with avocado and spicy sauce. Every ingredient was incredibly fresh, and the flavors blended beautifully. The spicy sauce added a nice kick, making every bite even more enjoyable.

On top of that, the staff was very friendly, which made the experience even better. It was a fantastic way to start my trip, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh and delicious poke in San Diego!“

“This is going to be my poke spot. The portion was so generous. I don’t know what mammoth size poke bowl people are used to but I was stuffed after getting a regular. The fish, the avocado - everything was so fresh. The server recommended the eel sauce which was so umami and delicious.“

“Service was excellent and everything tasted great. Not as many flavors as some spots but they mix salmon to create spicy salmon or shoyu salmon. Only wish the pineapple was fresh but everything else was fresh and a variety of sauces and toppings are available. Atmosphere was clean and chill but wasn’t like a vibey lounge or anything. “I usually don’t to restaurants that are overly broad with the foods they serve, but I’m glad I did! This place is excellent. I shared the 2 x $25 meal (gyu-don and chicken karaage) and a salmon poke bowl. Karaage was super light and crispy and the gyu-don was exactly what I was imagining. The salmon poke bowl also great, with a mix of raw and seared salmon. The seared salmon was a great touch! Overall, everything was delicious and very good portions. I will definitely be returning to try some other menu items!“
