They charge $1 for literally the smallest piece I've ever seen and when I called to voice my concern about feeling ripped off, they didn't care. I feel like if you're paying $20 for a bowl of ramen you should get what you pay for“

“I go to Pokechop all the time. The food is delicious with great portion sizes. The ingredients are super fresh and flavorful. I love being able to customize my poke bowl, which you can’t always do at different poke shops. I usually order ahead of time and it is always ready quickly.“

“Everyone in our house used to like poke. After we found Poke Chop, we LOVE poke! They have so many options of fish and sauces and toppings. I’ve never found as big of a selection. My daughter would eat here every day if I’d let her. There aren’t many places in Hillcrest where a family of 3 can get dinner for around $30, and be totally stuffed, and not feel blah afterwards. The fish is always really fresh. The only thing that could make it better is if they added mango, mmmmm. We try to eat there as much as possible because it will be a very sad day if they close. “I really enjoy Poke places that provide a lot of options for different customers. I was really happy to see that they had mango, pineapple, and their spicy krab is fire! The poke was cut nicely, sometimes poke to too chunky, their poke was cut precisely and you get the right amount with every bite. Additionally, there were a lot of sauce choices. If I’m in the area, I’m definitely coming back!“

“I came for a visit with some friends. As expected since it's a popular location, the parking was a little difficult to find and there was quite a wait. The staff provided great service and offered plenty of recommendations. Inside the restaurant, it's very spacious and warm with wood accents and a full bar.

For appetizers, we ordered the Takoyaki, Karaage, and Pork Gyoza. The Takoyaki was very hot and incredibly soft and gooey it practically melts into your mouth. The kaarage was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired nicely with the sauce. A hint of lemon made it taste so much better. The Pork Gyoza was a good starter and a great way to begin a meal. For our main dishes, we had the Traditional Tonkotsu Ramen, Carnitas Ramen, the Chicken Ramen, and the Chicken Katsu Curry. The Tonkotsu Ramen stood out the most. It's very flavorful and balanced nicely without an overly rich or heavy taste. The Carnitas Ramen was very interesting since it's a unique fusion-style dish which surprisingly works well. The Chicken Ramen on the other hand was decent. The chicken itself was a bit dry and salty, making it the least favorite out of the three we tried. As for the Chicken Katsu Curry, the katsu is crunchy, soft and was great to have. It's not overpowering and the curry flavor was spot on.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying bowl of ramen. It's a great spot for friends, family, and groups. Only downside is having to deal with the wait and limited parking so plan accordingly.“

“True Hawaiian Poké. No fluffy toppings, the actual stuff you will find on the Islands. Octopus Poké on Tuesdays. Menu changes from day to day depending on what the boats bring in...and, yes, the guys are actually from Hawai'i.“

“I’m so glad I found The Poke Co!! I was so hungry and I was in the area so I decided to give them a shot. The place is clean and big, they have a lot of tables and chairs inside and outside to enjoy your goods.

They have a large selection of drinks and snacks as well.
