“First time and I will definitely be coming back! The fish was soo fresh, no fishy taste at all. They give decent portions, lots of options from the menu. Staff was friendly!

The only thing that was not good was the water from the soda machine! It had a really bad after taste, like the filter hasn’t been changed or something… save yourself and just grab bottled water instead!“

“Everyone in our house used to like poke. After we found Poke Chop, we LOVE poke! They have so many options of fish and sauces and toppings. I’ve never found as big of a selection. My daughter would eat here every day if I’d let her. There aren’t many places in Hillcrest where a family of 3 can get dinner for around $30, and be totally stuffed, and not feel blah afterwards. The fish is always really fresh. The only thing that could make it better is if they added mango, mmmmm. We try to eat there as much as possible because it will be a very sad day if they close. (It’s a reality in the Hillcrest restaurant business ☹️).“

They charge $1 for literally the smallest piece I've ever seen and when I called to voice my concern about feeling ripped off, they didn't care. “I really enjoy Poke places that provide a lot of options for different customers. I was really happy to see that they had mango, pineapple, and their spicy krab is fire! The poke was cut nicely, sometimes poke to too chunky, their poke was cut precisely and you get the right amount with every bite. Additionally, there were a lot of sauce choices. If I’m in the area, I’m definitely coming back!“

“This poke place is awesome! You get to choose everything and the available toppings are all included except for the avocado. The fish was fresh and the sauces were superbe. The glass noodles were yummy. Service was excellent and lots of seating to dine in. Definitely will be back.“

“The staff is friendly and explains patiently to me as it is my first time visit. I had the XL-size poke bowl and the ingredients are fresh and plenty. I would definitely visit again. Also, I would recommend downloading their app as they offer discount for first-timers and points.“

“We came here with our family for poke and had a really enjoyable meal. The fish tasted very fresh, and there was a great variety of toppings and ingredients to choose from, so everyone could customize their bowl the way they liked. Our kids especially enjoyed it and ate really well. The portions are quite generous, so if you have a smaller appetite, sharing a bowl could be a good option. Overall, this is a great casual spot for fresh poke with plenty of choices and satisfying portions.“
