“The tempura (broccoli and zucchini) felt almost illegal to be enjoying and crunching on. The crispy balanced perfectly with the inside crunch and goodness. The sauce that came with these was excellent. It was served perfectly hot; the burn in the mouth is not a second or third degree type of food burn. This place has its temperatures, ratios, and measurements right. The food was served with love and care. We also tried the chicken soba. OH my Lord this is delicious. The Soba is the Star. The sushi here has great rice and fresh ingredients. We loved the egg roll (its smaller) yet the taste is all you want! The pots stickers!! Ahhhh. Come eat here already. We paid 40 for lots of food. 4 boxes full for 2 people, me and my son.“

“Just popped in for a quick bite at the tail end of happy hour. I sat at the bar and was served by Steven, he was great, quick to get my order and checked on me at reasonable intervals. Easy and friendly interaction overall.

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is on whoever should have been running food, which, based on my own experience in the industry, was probably the rest of the crew as it was a slow Monday and bartenders tend to be trapped behind the bar. I ordered nigiri and it took probably about 10 minutes to be delivered, I heard him ask a server to check on it but they never came back. He eventually went and got it himself, apologizing for the delay. Again, nothing against him here - he was busy making drinks the whole time. But once I took a bite of room temp tuna, it confirmed that it was ready and waiting a bit for a runner. This might not be a common occurrence but I've seen similar delays during past experiences, having to even ask a couple times about an item before it was delivered. Full hands in, full hands out (of the Back of House) and general team work would help with this issue.

I'll keep on coming back cause the food, service, and vibe is generally great. While still a bit pricey(cause its seafood, duh) this is some of the most reasonable prices in town for sushi. Just wish the happy hour was a smidgen longer so I could actually get to it after work more often. 🥲“

We had the sashimi 9 pieces which was great and tasted fresh, also the Snow White roll was 8/10 and the miso soup was great. “Ordered take out from the vegan menu- the mr. potato roll and miso soup. Pick up was easy and timely. The roll was good, even unique with the concept of tater tots accompanying it, but for me personally, I wouldn't pay $20+ again for it. The outside avo and sauce had a great taste but was overpowered by the plain taste of rice. Had there been soy sauce that came along with it, it probably would have tasted better. You can purchase soy for $2 but I overlooked that as I've never ordered sushi where you didn't get a few packets with the roll.
I also checked the option for utensils seeing as I was traveling, but only chopsticks were included so I had nothing for my soup.
I love that there is a large vegan menu and I would absolutely go back to try more of it- I just feel there could be a little more attention to detail for take out orders.“
