“Not the fanciest of places, but worth the visit. If we lived closer, we would eat here frequently. Mama cooks, son works front of the house, and I don't know the status of the rest of the family. They serve all food in take-out boxes but they do have tables to eat at. Good thing, because as is often the case the portions are too big to eat in one sitting.Pad Thai & Pad See Ew are our usual first go-tos to test a new restaurant. The Pad Thai was not too sweet, which is often my complaint with this dish. It also did not have peanut flavor, which was odd (there were crushed peanuts of course). Both dishes were temp hot and freshly cooked. Neither one had any heat - I do not recall being asked for our preferred heat rating when ordering. I am sure we could have requested it. In that vein, we asked for and were brought chili sauce, fish sauce with peppers and vinegar with peppers. We added to our own liking.*We will most assuredly be visiting here again. Crave-worthy.*Two entrees and one soda was $40 - maybe a little less, not including tip.“

“Craving Thai food for dinner. My husband and I stopped by. First time here, thought they were the other Thai Gem place that heard great things about but for some reason is never open. Came and was greeted. Was told we could sit anywhere. Was given the menu and drinks order taken. There's so many options on their menu to choose from. I was craving my usual red curry and papaya salad. Ordered eggrolls as apps, my husband ordered larb and we got chicken fried rice for our toddler. The owner was the one who took our order. He was very nice and said he was in business for about 45 years and everything is made fresh to order. Food came out fast and hot. Everything was delicious. The red curry I ordered was one of the best I've had I could taste the coconut milk and brought so much childhood memories. The papaya salad Thai style was perfect, strangely my husband thought it was too spicy (when he eats more spice than I do) but I thought it was just right. The chicken fried rice was good too. Would Thai food and the owner was very kind. Highly recommend and will be returning.“

“There are several reasons why I am continuously enticed to keep coming back to this food truck when I am in the area every Sunday. Chief among them is their menu, which are all authentic and hard-to-find dishes you will not get at any local Thai restaurant. The Pad Thai and Pad Kra Pow (grounded meat with Thai basil) are easily the most popular dishes, but I have also had the chance to try other dishes like Khao Kha Mu (braised pork) and Khao Man Gai (boiled chicken with ginger garlic rice). The Khao Man Gai is essentially a Thai interpretation of the Chinese dish, Hainan Chicken Rice. None of the dishes have truly impressed me so far but I appreciate they have not been very oily and overly seasoned. The dishes are a healthier, cleaner-tasting version of some of the dishes you can expect at most local dine-in restaurants. I have also not tried any of the fried and skewed meat dishes here that are usually my "cup of tea" and have deeper flavor profiles. The plates are priced appropriately for a food truck, where you will get just enough for a quick and satisfying meal. Very friendly service. You will always be greeted with a warm smile and they will make helpful suggestions on what to try if you are being indecisive. The plates come within 5 to 8 minutes while made-to-order. On rainy or windy days, they will bring your order to your car as soon as it is prepared. You will find them at the corner of E. Shepard Avenue and N. Willow Avenue on Thursdays to Sundays, 11 AM to 7 PM come rain or shine.“

“I come to Clovis every now and then, and when I do I make it a point to eat here! I've only tried 3 items from here, but they're all delicious. My go-tos are the pad see ew with beef, yellow curry with chicken, and mango sticky rice. Their pad see ew is delicious and flavorful, and the noodles are cooked perfectly - not mushy! The yellow curry is so warm and comforting on a cold day and has great flavor as well. My only complaint with the curry is I wish it had carrots along with the potatoes and onions, but it's delicious regardless. Now the MANGO STICKY RICE. This is the best mango sticky rice I've ever tried and I can't come here without getting it. To be fair, I haven't tried many mango sticky rices lol but this one is the perfect amount of sweetness and leaves me wanting more every time. Do note that this item is seasonal though, and is only served when mangos are in season. Overall love this place, and look forward to going back every time I'm in the area.“
