“My husband, mother-in-law & myself came here for the first time because it was recommended by my sister-in-law and the waitress is super friendly. My mom and me got the Pho1 and my husband had menudo. He rated it an 8 and I give the Pho a 8 as well. Next time I’ll order it without some of the meats but I wanted to try them to see if I liked them or not. The Thai tea was really good. The guy that works there is also super nice and took pictures of us because he saw my MIL trying to get us all in the shot. They just go above and beyond here and we’ll definitely be back. It’s a 20 min drive for us but well worth it. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you for everything today. We really appreciate it.“

“We came across the store by chance and the good Google reviews and were not disappointed. It tastes authentically like in Thailand, only the portions are huge compared to the original in Thailand. Hot is really hot here. The owner is super nice. You definitely have to eat here if you like Thai food. Brings a lot of hunger. And there are boxes to take with you even if you can't make it.“

“Always love the food here! We've gotten pho most times and love it. Never understood the random tarp/curtain leading to the bathroom that looks like it's never been washed, which makes me uncomfortable and wonder how clean the place is, but the food is amazing, so I'll keep coming 😆“

“This is my absolute favorite place to get beef laab, I come here so often that they know me as the guy who orders his raw, spicy and sour. They always greet me with a smile and are attentive to all the tables even when it is busy. 10/10 definitley recommend.“

“Best spot for pho in Fresno/clovis area. This is my favorite spot. #16 rare steak pho! Hits the spot every time.
I went on Tuesday (feb. 4th) the restaurant DOES take debit card unfortunately that day their machine wasn’t working, luckily we had cash on hand.
The smoothies with boba are tasty as well! Not so sweet, you can enjoy their smoothies. Taro, banana, mango, strawberry and coconut are my favorite flavors.
We had 2 medium #16 (Video) with 2 smoothies w/ boba.
Taro smoothie(photo) is the purple looking one.

“We just found our new favorite restaurant! Stephen and his crew did an awesome job when we visited here for the first time. We had the pork bowl which was flavorful, but the sauces were the highlight. Spicy garden was a creamy sauce of blended cilantro and jalapeños. It was a nice spice but not too hot for most people. I could put this on almost anything. The Vietnamese vinegarette was also very flavorful. We even dunked our baowzers in them.
The baowzers were incredible, they were savory inside with just a touch of sweet on the deep fried outside. We will need to order these everything we come here.
Stephen gave us great recommendations so just ask if you have questions.

“Huonglan#9 at 4965 N Fresno St is a fantastic spot for anyone craving a bowl of delicious pho! The pho here is absolutely wonderful—rich, flavorful broth with tender meat and perfectly cooked noodles. The flavors are well-balanced, and the portion sizes are generous.
What really stands out is the freshness of the ingredients. The herbs, bean sprouts, and lime are always fresh, adding that perfect touch of crunch and zest to every bite. The restaurant is cozy, and the service is friendly and efficient.
If you're a pho lover or just in the mood for a comforting, satisfying meal, Huonglan#9 is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend it for the pho alone—it's some of the best I've had in Fresno!“

“Second time here today and brought my friends, I’m hooked! If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, look no further! Came last week for the first time, ordered pho, grilled pork vermicelli plate, and spring rolls. Everything was on point! Portions were all very generous with lots of meat in the pho and veggies all very fresh. Large size pho bowl 🍲 was huge! Broth was soooo flavorful! Restaurant was very nice and clean. Staff all very friendly and food came out fast. Spring rolls were so delicious, the pork cooked and marinated perfectly, not the boring boiled pork and shrimp style like other places. The vermicelli plate includes meat, shrimp, and egg rolls. Other places charge extra to add shrimp or egg rolls! I would definitely give a 5++star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️rating on this place. This hidden gem has the best Vietnamese food in the Central Valley! 🥰“

“This spot was in a not so great area but it was decently good. Our table order the chicken, rare steak and seafood pho. We also ordered the thai boba, taro boba and the chicken sand which(banh mi).
The portions were good sizes for the price. The seafood and steak pho was a little greasy but overall good depth of flavor. The banh mi bread made the sandwich so good, it was soft with the right amount of crunch. The boba was good but expensive in my opinion.
The service was ok. The waiter asked if our order was ok and everything came out good.

“Tried legendary pho for the first time recently. It’s definitely a hidden gem. Food was delicious, not expensive and you get large portions. The service was awesome very friendly and made recommendations since it was our first time. I haven’t had pho in a long time so chose the sea food bowl. My husband got the special with fried pork(yum). We definitely will be back.“

“If you are looking for a “hole in the wall” restaurant that serves good food, you found it. You know when it’s authentic food when service is not what you expect from a popular Americanized chain restaurant. The server was impatient with us when we were not ready to place our order. He seemed annoyed. He probably assumed that I knew what I wanted. The AC was broken so we had our meal in the warm humid atmosphere. The bathrooms were dingy and old. That’s all the negatives with this restaurant. But, FOOD IS AMAZING. Most authentic food I have had in a long time. See pictures. Pepper is standard. You don’t get to pick how spicy you want it. If it’s too spicy, scoop some pepper off before incorporating. It’s CASH ONLY! While waiting in line to pay for our meals, a large group came and picked up 5 large trays of laab and fried rice for catering. That’s when you know it’s good. I will go again when I am back in town.“
