“TUESDAY FOOD REVIEW...LAZY DOG (again)...11/28/23! Before our haircuts, we stopped at Lazy Dog for lunch. We split their uber yummy Bacon Candy, which is bacon baked with brown sugar, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Then I had my usual, their Baja California Burger, which is a grilled half pound beef patty, guacamole, hatch chiles, jack cheese, roasted jalapeno-lime aioli, red onion, and lettuce. I had the pickles on the side, and also my tomatoes, which I had grilled on the side. For my side order choice, I got their pickled cucumber salad. This burger is, BAR NONE, the BEST burger ever!!!! When you take a bite, right off the bat, you taste all that is on the burger, which, for me, is a wonderful thing!!! I come to Lazy Dog just to have this burger, and it never disappoints!!!!“

Parking is like a battlefield. A handful of them are entitled Beemers swooping in for the parking slot.
I guess that's what I get for driving a small Jap car ?, you no see me, people are people.

The lines are long.
The preparation of the sandwich is even longer.

If I'm hungry, I'd go elsewhere.

Other than that, they are worth every penny waiting for them delicious sandwiches!

“I've had lunch at this franchise for several years now, and generally, it's been above 4.5 stars consistently. This branch in Thousand Oaks was a 5 star this time, and frankly, every time I've been here. If I'm in the area, it's definitely on my mind to visit.
I love the "socal" . By the way, they bake their own bread at the store ⭐️
The one in north Hollywood is my least favorite of them.“

“We had a party of three come here last night, And it was a really wonderful experience. Our food was delicious as we’ve come to expect from Olive Garden. But the highlight was absolutely our waiter, Marcus (If that’s how you spell it). He was incredibly attentive, very accommodating, And had a smile on his face the whole night. My wife is a waitress (And a damn good one) so we really pay attention to service. Give that man a raise!“

I had with my diabetes by providing me with some orange juice because my blood sugar had gotten low. I truly appreciate him doing that for me. Wish they'd have have the option of the sandwiches coming on Italian bread than just all on the bread sticks but they are still pretty good for the price. I go for the meatball sand because it's a cheaper bargain price and I thought it was much better tasting than the chicken sandwich which was about the same as you'd get at Burger King. My wife and I come to Olive Garden mostly when they have the GET ONE TAKE ONE HOME DEAL. Can't beat that. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because all their chicken is not that good and is the same yuck kind you can get at any fast food joint. The meatballs are great. But then if you want to add them to you spaghetti dinner, they charge an extra $3 for 3 meatballs or sausage even. Then that makes spaghetti & meatballs come to about $16 and that is overpriced imo. On some visits the spaghetti sauce is caked with thick tomato slices in it and no other options because it's all made that day. Some days the sauce is more meaty and then the next visit tons of too much tomato slices and it's all watery. Also, being a bigger guy, almost every time we've been here, it's been a bit embarrassing being seated at booths that don't fit me and then having to move and I think the host or hostess should know better and know their tables. Otherwise this is a place we go to for lunch and only for dinner when they have the buy one take one home deal.“

“Have not been here for awhile. Ordered 2 pizzas 15 boneless wings and mozzarella sticks. The pizza was good and just how I remembered it. Very very disappointed with the boneless wings. They were the size of a nickel. Not worth the money at all. I guess if I order them again I will order bone in that way at least they are decent size. I am really surprised they would serve them that way. All in all good place just don’t order wings“

“Wide array of choices for burgers! Great service! We went at a time when there were only two other families eating, about 1 hour prior to closing but plenty of time to order and eat our food! The place was quiet enough that we could easily hear each other and conversation, seating was fairly comfortable with availability to dine inside or outside.
Our server, Logan, was super accommodating and welcoming while still being professional and deficient! Very accommodating in helping us with the menu and recommendations!
He helped us compromise between curly fries and truffle fries by using truffle oil and Parmesan on the curly fries! It was great!
The burgers were absolutely delicious! We ordered two burgers and just split them and each had half so that we can enjoy the experience of burger flavors that were new to us!
It was very refreshing to have a server who seemed genuinely engaged, and who definitely seemed to want us to have a good experience!
Parking was easy in a free open lot shared amongst other businesses.
The restroom was clean, as was the restaurant!“
