i was kinda expecting it to be just another generic indian spot that all taste the same but it was actually really good. the chicken tikka masala had a nice smoky flavor and the naan was soft and fresh. the service was fine nothing to complain about but the wait to get the food did take a little longer then i hoped. i definitly would go back but id plan for it not to be a super quick lunch. the portions are yuuuge so youll have leftovers for sure definately worth the money. i...read full review

India Palace offers delicious and flavorful Indian cuisine, with standout dishes like chicken curry and lamb. The naan bread is particularly praised for its quality. The restaurant has demonstrated compassion by providing a homeless man with rice. However, there have been instances of slow service during busy periods, which may affect the overall dining experience. Despite this, the restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in the kind gesture of providing free desserts to make up for any inconvenience. Prices are noted to be reasonable.
The restaurant's buffet has recently returned after a three-year hiatus, offering a good balance of meat and vegetarian options, each with its own unique flavor. The updated price of around $22 USD is considered reasonable given the increased cost of everything in 2024. Vegetarian diners will find plenty of options to choose from.
Customers have praised the great ambiance and awesome service at India Palace. The Gobi Chicken Tikka Masala is a must-try, while the Paneer Tikka Masala was described as so-so, but the Malai Kofta and Dal Tadka were awesome. Parking is available, with street parking also an option.
Recently, diners have shared that the food is traditional Indian (Hindi) and amazing, with some of the best flavors on the island. The restaurant can handle very large bookings with proper scheduling. Many have placed India Palace in their top 5 best food spots on the island. The variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes is impressive, and the spice level can be adjusted according to individual needs. Popular dishes include Navrattna Korma, Malai Kofta, Sahi Paneer, and Biryani.
One customer mentioned celebrating a daughter's birthday at the restaurant, enjoying a selection of appetizers, rice, and naan, all of which were good. It was noted that the food is less spicy than many other Indian restaurants, but spice levels can be requested to be higher or lower. The restaurant is family-friendly and provides high chairs for little ones. Prices are very reasonable, allowing a family of six to feast and leave under $300 including tax and tip.
