Royal Cafe

Royal has been the best breakfast/lunch restaurant in this area for years -- for me more than 40 years including the past 25 years or so with the "new" owners. They have been closed now for more than two years, and they've done a poor job updating their website or there front door. Yelp says they reopen March of 2023. I haven't been to this place in a long while. But I drove past it the other day and immediately thought of the eggs Benedict that I ate. It had spinach, avocado, tomatoes, and was DELISH!! I need to go back.

If the Royal Café were to open tomorrow, just as I did when my COVID vaccine was first available to me, I would be pushing older people out of the way to be first in line. I've been a big fan of the Royal Café for 43 years now. It's not that their food is the best in the world and it's not that their prices are better than any other omelette house. It's the people.
