This one is bigger and seemingly has a restaraunt on one end and a fridge of desserts to bread section (came from the back entrance). There's an abundance of Asian bread and desserts. Still doing the buy 8 get one free bread. We were able to get a taro cake on the spot which had a classic asian bakery cake appearance. Surprisingly inside there was real pureed taro, which I feel is rare nowadays. Parking is abundant though in a broken down looking parking lot. It gives very homely/local vibes. Ordering was very simple with the card machine and the cashiers were nice. They also had bamboo leaf wrapped glutinous rice balls in the front. The main reason for the high rating comes from their bread. I got a single vanilla sponge cake with puff pastry in the middle- which I've only seen at one bakery that specializes in this cake!! Pleased to say this place's cake has one of the softest and eggy tasting bounce I have ever eaten. It wasn't too sweet and perfect for a snack. The other bread I tasted was their pork floss hot dog bun- which I loved since it came with a touch of mayo and seaweed, tying the experience together. The bread is less glossy than commercial, but overall tasted fresh and fluffy. Only downside was the hot dog bun seemed to only have half a hot dog haha. I also got a wife cake which had perfect layers to it and the filling also wasn't too sweet. I hope to come here again for their breads and pastries!

Momo Bakery is no longer the same as the one before Covid times. I used to be a regular customer here as they used to pride themselves with using good and quality ingredients. This is no longer the case. The Chinese sponge cake aka "tan ko" is white in color and no longer fluffy; it seems like they no longer use eggs in their bakery items. I went back several times to purchase the same item and it's the same non fluffy texture each time. If a bakery chooses to cut back on main ingredients for bakery items, it's a shameful tactic which will lead to losing their customers. I do not mind paying more for items given the current inflation but having the bakery remove eggs from the bakery items is not acceptable. I'd rather bring my business elsewhere and there are other better bakeries to select from.!

I love a great bakery and this place did not disappoint. Fresh baked goods and lattes. Found this place as I waited for my inlaws to wrap up an appointment they had across the street. Will definitely come back soon.

It was a very hot day in Alhambra and I was craving ice cream. Thankfully this place had ice cream macaroons! I had the green tea and vanilla macaroons and they really satisfied my craving! I highly recommend if your craving ice cream in the area. It was only $3 per macaroon too so the price isn't that bad. Inside the bakery was also a large variety of pastries! Everything looked so good. I'll be for sure trying their pastries next time I come around.

What I love about this place is how elegant and delicate their pastries and breads are. I got the vanilla cake with pastry in the middle. It was perfect, slightly sweet, held together by cream, crispy from the cooked pastry and spongy white cake. Genius! The coconut bun was also outstanding. The taro bun was soft and perfect. I love this place good job guys!

Their business hours is 7 days a week from 7 am- 6 pm. Not sure why Google and the Yelp posted the wrong business hours?! This Taiwanese bakery has two locations. It's under the new management, recently we have tried their cakes, the veggie buns and the bread are all yummy. Will try the coffee/latte next time when in the area.

I had: - Egg tart - Hong Kong Bun (pineapple bin) - Pineapple cake with egg yolk To keep my carbs to under 150 calories tpsired with coffee: I had half the egg tart. A couple bites of the pineapple bun and one bite of the pineapple cake. Voila! Other but not yet tried: - Wheat grain bun - Zongzi (frozen since fresh one are in the morning) - three-pack Hong Kong mini buns This above was about $20 The taste is fresh and wholesome. The service is caring and efficient. Amex accepted. Unfortunately not all products are on stock: No taro sliced bread. No breakfast egg goodies. I saw some cold cuts on the counter and on the shelf that looked yummy. I will keep coming.

Hours are not accurate on yelp. It says open until 830pm, but I arrived in person and it's closed.

On Lunar New Years Eve, Mrs. Picante and I were hankering for some good Pho and some Chinese bakery items... luckily, we enjoyed both from one parking spot on Valley Blvd. (New Noodle City provided the dinner, and Momo provided the dessert!) Over the years, I've visited this bakery several times-- what is it about those light, delicious cakes with fresh strawberries, kiwi, and canned peach slices??? For this trip, we wanted something a little more rich, so we opted for a red bean and coconut pudding cake. After our salty meal of pho, it was the perfect compliment: the thick, lightly sweet cake with a sprinkling of nuts on top was amazing, and of course, we ate too much. On previous trips, I've enjoyed their wide selection of cakes, breads, pastries, and other delights. I really like their buns stuffed with taro, red bean, pineapple, and I even found a pumpkin bun there once. I've also walked out with WAY too many sesame balls and egg custard tarts... eating a few in the car on the way home is highly encouraged, especially when they are still warm. And if you like melon cakes, Momo is your jam. I'm getting hungry and ready to blow my diet just thinking about this place. Luckily, it's a little bit of a drive for me to get there... but it seems more than a few folks know my love of Chinese pastries, so I always seem to find them on my desk at work. Oh well, there are worse things people could leave in my office.

I drove by this place and decided to stop by because who doesn't love a bakery? I walked in and saw a wide selection of pastries and sweets. Everything looked so delicious here. I ended up getting a bread with a hotdog inside, ham and egg sandwich, and a piece of vanilla cake. The food here definitely tastes as good as it looks. The sandwich was so delicious!!! I wanted more because it was just so satisfying. The vanilla cake was literally the best cake I have had. It was so soft and had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. The hotdog bread was very soft and tasty as well. I really enjoyed every item I bought. They are also open early in the morning which is always a plus. I would definitely recommend this location to everyone as I am sure there is something you will enjoy here.

mediocre bakery. I came in the afternoon and got some pastries. A lot of the stuff was clearly stale and old. Selection was also low. Cant comment on cakes since I didnt get any.

I stop by this bakery very often. Their bread is fresh and tasty. Love the four-mini cupcakes the most!

This was my first time at this bakery. My son really wanted a cake from a Chinese bakery for his birthday so I went to this place a couple days ago hoping they could customize a cake. Being that we're currently in stay at home orders, I wasn't sure if the bakery had limited staff to do that kind of thing. I gave them a picture of what I wanted and they said they were able to do it. YAY! I ordered a vanilla cake with mango filling and to have it decorated like Fortnite Marshmellow, to pick up two days later. I picked up some breads that day as well to try. I've never been to this bakery before so I was curious as to how the breads tasted compared to other Chinese bakeries in the area. The breads itself were ok. I've had better. I like Simply Splendid down the street, they seem to be more fresh and I like the flavors of the bread more. So I went this afternoon to pick up the cake and the cake in the box was not what I had ordered. At. All. It was a beautiful fruit topped cake with mango slices all around the side. I told the girl that it wasn't what I ordered. She called the manager and apologized and to come back in an hour. Apparently there was some miscommunication with the info in the order form. !?!?! So they called me in an hour and said my cake was ready. And they did an amazing job on it, better than I expected. It looked just like the picture I gave them. When it was time for cake, my son was sooo happy when he saw it. The best part was the cake was delicious!!! Fluffy cake, fluffy light frosting, sweet mango. It was soooo good!! He had two huge slices, and it was a big hit with the rest of the family! I found a new place for great cakes! My advice is to plan to pick up a bit sooner than you need it in case they make you the wrong cake and they need an hour to whip up a new one...which should never happen but it happened to me!

Bought a cake for my daughter and bread. Love it. No cutting corners. I live in the area and will keep going there for my baking goods

Taste is mediocre, but we go there from time to time because of convenience. Unfortunately they don't know how to hire staffs with good manner. My mother went to pick up a birthday cake and asked if it'll be freshed after paying. Today, a female staff member in her 20s-30s smuggly replied,"You'll find out if it's fresh or not later." Not jokingly, but with a I'm too good to serve you attitude. If the woman hated her job, she should still provide the best service she can as that's work ethic. They just lost some repeating customers.
