Kangkang Xiaomei is truly a great value—an excellent choice at this price point. I make sure to have it every so often; it holds a special place in my heart.
Best Sheng Jian Bao on the west coast! The bottom is crispy, lots of delicious soup, meat filling has the traditional Shanghainese sweet taste. I drive hours to get it. One order has 8 pieces for $14.99
Kang Kang Food Court has been around for a very long time. Very causal ambiance type of price.
On this visit, I ordered their famous Shanghai Pan Fried Pork Buns ($14.47). I've been eating these since I was in high school. Back then, it was one of the best things I had ever eaten, and the price was about half of what it is now.
