This is not "authentic" but it's not going to stop me coming back. I love the food. However, they were understaffed and I felt bad for the two waitresses scurrying about trying to appease all of the customers. Ordered the Shrimp Roast and the Chicken & Sausage Roast. As a Floridian who's visited Nola a couple times, I can tell you this is the best place to visit for some good Cajun/Creole (sorry I don't know the right term is here) food. I tried their Pan roast and their clam chowder and they are amazing. Pairing the pan roast with rice was just perfect. I went for medium and it wasn't too spicy. The sausages were diced cubes which was easy to eat and the shrimp were medium sized. The spice has a moderate kick, not enough to become uncomfortable, more like an after kick with each bite. Paired with a side of rice to consume tastes great.
