“Not sure why it took me so long to write a review for this spot. But I’ve been coming here for a few years now, and I gotta say. I’ve tried açaí bowls from plenty of other spots, but this has been my #1 for a while. They are delicious and reasonably priced. Staff is great too and I like ordering makes it easy to get.“

“Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.
I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.
The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.
The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

“I love this place! I used to come here often when I was working in DTLA. The food is legit, my favorite Japanese comfort food place in Little Tokyo. At that time, long ago, I remember the owner worked in the kitchen and his daughter will be serving the tables, a true family business. I think I saw the son now administering this place, he was in school when I was coming here.
One of the few original places left here, a clear indicator that their food and service are always good. I should come again soon with my family to reminisce the good old days and have a wonderful meal.“

“Celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday at Bingsu Bingsu and it couldn't have been more perfect fulfilling her foodie favorites with a variety of tasty taiyaki, specialty teas and an exquisitely prepared Signature Bibim Bingsu! “Italian ice was colorful and refreshing with just the right amount of soft serve to ice ratio. Just when I was running out of soft serve I found more at the bottom lolSundae was perfect amount of chocolate and whipped cream. Banana milkshake has fresh bananas combined with thick, creamy ice cream. Overall, a delight!“

“The restaurant on the third floor that used to have mariachi shows is boarded up and closed. They been closed since the Covid shutdown. Everything else is open. There is still plenty of food and small booths selling leather goods, makeup, piñatas, traditional Mexican dresses and shirts, and lots more.“

“Classic Taiwanese food. They hit me with the Mandarin the minute I stepped inside and I was totally unprepared for that to happen but it was chill.
Service is very fast. The price is not super cheap but it is reasonable. We got 麻辣豆乾 (spicy bean curd), 香腸 (Sinbala sausage), 炸排骨乾麵 (fried pork chop dry noodles), and 扣肉飯 (pork belly rice). The portions are pretty large. The pork chop was dry but crispy, so I have mixed feelings about that one.
They take card if you order more than $30 worth of food. I’d love to come back to try their shaved ice because I hear it’s better than Meet Fresh!“

“This place is not called el Piquin Mexican Grill anymore. it’s called Taqueria La Fogata and since they have changed owners. the food has been so much better and more delicious than ever before. everything on the menu is great especially their chicken that they specialize in. every type of food from breakfast lunch and dinner. They never disappoint and always great outdoor seating and staff is wonderful. ????“
“I came in for lunch and asked the manager what he recommended he recommended a torta that was absolutely delicious one of the most delicious things I've had here on Greenleaf who would have known a little fruteria would have these really delicious tortas I'm glad I took the chance they will have a new customer for life. “It’s not too often that I stop at a Michoacana store, but this location somehow always manages to serve everything with a positive and enthusiastic attitude everytime I stop by to buy something! Most stores usually have little to not much variety, but this location always has something in store for everyone! It has flavors for ice cream that other locations don’t seem to have. They always try to introduce something new and refreshing that anyone can and will enjoy! Whenever I have entered this store, they always have fresh corn for an esquite or fresh fruit for hot summer days. If you’re looking for something fresh and tasty to eat, while being served by enthusiastic employees, I HIGHLY recommend visiting this store! It’s a must!!“

“I stopped by this It's Boba Time today after completing my certification test nearby. I wanted to celebrate since I passed so I was craving a green apple slush. I walk by this Boba store many times but never stop by until now. When I walked inside, they were not busy at all so I went straight to the kiosk to put in my order. The process is simple and I didn't get charged tax at all. It didn't take long for my drink to come out and it was delicious. The drink was done just right where it wasn't too sweet or plain so I enjoyed my drink. The worker here is very friendly and if you don't want to order from the kiosk then they'll still take your order. They have indoor and outdoor seating here as well.“
