“I was slightly disappointed with the small amount of raw coconut flakes sprinkled on my bowl. I even took a photo of it; you can check it out yourself! Haha. But overall, it was still a yummy treat.I ordered a medium-sized bowl with the following bases: pitaya (dragon fruit), acai, chia pudding, and blue Majik. However, the blue Majik didn't have much taste, or there wasn't enough of it to get a sense of its flavor. But, the toppings I got were amazing! I added some cacao nibs, almond granola, and raw coconut (again, not enough), which made the bowl taste even better. I also really like that the acai is not overly sweet. There is no indoor seating available, only outdoor seating which is located beside the parking area that is shared with other restaurants.“
“Amazing Mexican food. The home made tortillas were so good and the Mexican brown rice was such an awesome brown rice prep. Great service, nice people. We missed a couple items on our takeout order and the restaurant promptly refunded us. Really appreciated the help with that one.“
“Just being totally honest here – the food is absolutely worth it! This place has a relaxed vibe when it comes to service and atmosphere. It's got this casual, neighborhood shop feel with a great selection of healthy options. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted by the delicious smell of their dishes. It's a treat for the senses!“
“Honestly when I came here I expected to be another downtown restaurant that is kinda expensive with average food and small prices. But I was very happy to find that the food is very flavorful and filling. It's a great place to frequent for lunch. I'd love to come back and try their creative drinks!“
“Small shop but it has all the healthy, nutritious foods you can have. Very clean and neat dining area with tables/chairs and bar seating. But most people make it to-go. Clear menu with instructions for how to build your own açaí bowl. Friendly staffs with a big smile. No need to mention more about the food itself! 100% fresh, delicious, variety of choices, and healthy!! This is what I got: - Two bases: açaí and pitaya- Protein granola- Chia seed pudding- Strawberry- Banana- Kiwi- Blueberry- Mango- Dried cranberries- Sweetened coconut shreds- Cocoa chips- Agave syrup“
“The absolute best catering for salads, sandwiches and appetizers with nice presentation and at amazing prices. Anytime I have their food at a party, there’s always compliments. They serve authentic Armenian food. I recommend the Eech, Lavash wraps, mini Khachapouris/Boregs! Their lunch menu is just as good! ?“
“I love this place. It's in the basement, but don't let that fool you, they make some of the best sandwiches I have ever had, and I have loved everything else I have tried so far. The staff is friendly, and you can order online or over the phone. I think they also have a mobile app but I have never used it.“
“The Earthbar at Equinox, Glendale is one of the best location's I've been to and the healthy options that they have make it really easy to eat something that you don't feel guilty about after working out. The employees are also very likable and take care in making your smoothies after a hard workout.“
“In general, True Foods Kitchen is a great place to eat. It was just this one time where service was not as good as our previous times dining at True Foods. At every stage of the experience, service was slow: ordering, bringing out food, and getting the check. Our food came out lukewarm or cold. I hope the next time we go, we get better service because we genuinely love the place.“
“This place is good, attractive decor, tasty food. Service is usually spartan. It's not the cheapest place but it's healthy and tasty. The portions are not large, so if you are hungry, maybe be aware of that. I come here infrequently but it's a good place for a salad that's healthy and can comply with things like Whole30, etc.“
“I had an amazing experience at the Acai Bar in Pasadena! The acai bowls were absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a healthy and satisfying meal. I'll definitely be coming back for more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“I want to take a moment to thank Miguel and the team for saving my lunch presentation with clients today. They were already very busy with lunch orders and were still happy to help me with my 11-person last minute order.Food was delicious! While I’m going to ding them for not having chocolate chip cookies ready ?, I’m still going to HIGHLY recommend them for your future lunch needs.“
“I visited Berry Bowl on 9/15/23 around 11 am. I had decided to take a chance despite some of the negative reviews pertaining to customer service. However, what I discovered was nice, friendly, & helpful employees. I was indecisive on what Acai to get so I was offered a samples. After my sample I still could not make a decision. The young lady at the register informed me that I could get both & mix my bowI with both flavors. I believe it was Tropical Acai & Acai. Let me back up. I asked the staff several questions prior to sampling because I am lactose intolerance & need to know what is mixed into the bowl. She explained everything to me in detail. There was another young man who placed my toppings. He also was just as nice to me as the other staff member. He calmly explained to me all the different types of granola. I was reluctant on the coconut topping because I don’t like dry & hard coconut shaving. He told me that it was not hard & it was in fact soft. All of my toppings were fresh & as you can see it was plentiful. There are three sizes to choice from.Yup, I got the large and ate every bit of it all to myself. They have seating inside & out. There is a choice if available, to sit at the table with more shading/privacy. The other option is the typical table in the open, which is where I sat. I plan to go back soon.Dietary restrictions: lactose intolerant, They have coconut water. Oak, Almond, & I don't remember everything she told me. It was a list of options. I only retained the options I had considered.Parking: I paid 25 cents for 15 minutes. The meter would not add more time when I added another 25 cents via credit card. So I added a quarter & it still did not add anymore time. I did push the + tab but it did not work. The meter was within my vision so I did not stress on that issue.“
“Learned about Fitrition Kitchen through a post on social media and my husband and I have tried it a couple of times now. It's great for when we're short on time to do our usual weekkly meal prepping. Prices are reasonable when you think about the time and energy it's saving. 3 dishes for $32 with 1 soup or 4 dishes for $40 with 2 soup. The soups tend to be healthier and can be a bit bland flavor-wise. There's always a seasonal vegetable dish that I don't really care for, but the rest of the dishes are typically Chinese flavored. Some of the seafood (specifically fish) is sometimes little in quantity. From my experience, it's best if you speak Chinese and call to book your order in advance for the weekday around 11:30am-12:00pm (otherwise you can email them), and you can usually pick-up after 3:30pm in the afternoon. If you go in the afternoon without booking, you risk them running out of dishes or not having enough for you. The meals for the week (changes daily) are uploaded on their website the weekend in advance. They accept cash or card. I haven't ordered rice before, but I believe you can order it as a side or just make you own. Really a great option if you are feeling too lazy to cook, as my husband and I can stretch out the 4 dishes typically at least for a couple of days' lunches.“
“It looks like a fast food restaurant, but the food is way better. There is a buffet-style line, but your selected food choices are served to you, thankfully on porcelain dishes, not on plastic or styrofoam. The only plastic items I saw were the water tumblers. There is a good amount of tables and chairs in the restaurant; so, no problem finding a seat. That may be different during the week when the lunch crowd comes in.“
“ordered for delivery and my only complaint was that it was a little cold when it arrived. as far as the food itself goes, I ordered a 3 side plate with brussels sprouts, the tomato and avocado salad and mashed potatoes. everything was well seasoned and delicious. I also got the raspberry mint lemonade and it was very refreshing!“
“Utterly charmed by this place. After eating an incredible, smoky bowl of split pea - which John (the owner) made on the spot on his gas stove behind the register - for $3.75, I bought some grocery staples and a few treats. While shopping, I marveled at the hand-packed "leftovers" stored in the wood-paneled refrigerator, on sale for a modest $1.75/portion instead of being thrown out. A business as personal and homey as Oh Happy Day is a marvel these days. I feel gratitude and respect for John and the space he's fostered. Will be back many times.“
