Was a little offended I ordered my food. Waiting at the window, named was called, I walk up, said it’s my name, gave my receipt. She held my food and asked the guy across from me who was probably waiting longer because he did an online order what his name was. Then proceeds and was like oh no it’s not you and then gives me my food. Like what hell was that. Calling me a liar with a receipt.

Hotdogs and fries, but my favorite is the asada fries. The lines look long but they go fairly quick quickly.

If you're craving hot dogs, Award Wieners may satisfy that hunger. The menu offers some enticing options. I've enjoyed both the regular menu and seasonal items.
The Bacon Street Dog, All-Beef Dog, and the Filmstrip fries are my favorites on the year-round menu. The Uptown Chili Dog, also a regular item, is okay. The chili is mild with beans. I prefer a bolder chili. The corn chips added a nice texture, though.
Plant-based options, kids' meals, and alcoholic beverages are also available. Seasonal desserts are sometimes offered here.
Award Wieners offers mobile ordering and discounts for Magic Key pass holders. However, there can sometimes be a wait for both stand-by and mobile orders. Free ice water is available upon request.
Plenty of tables and seating are around the corner from the ordering windows, and a couple of self-serve condiment stations with relish, mustard, ranch, ketchup, and utensils.

I don't think a quality/value assessment would be helpful nobody eats at a restaurant on the Disneyland campus and expects to pay a fair price. It's expensive for a hot dog, yes.
This place is everything that the infamous LA icon Pink's wishes it was: a novelty hot dog place with exciting ingredients and eponymous Los Angeles menu items. My favorite thing here is a Chili Dog with frito chips on it. It sounds like a pothead's late night creation but it's actually damned savory, and clever.
I don't know the composition of the hot dogs but they taste like all-beef.
The corkscrew fries are magnificent. Best fries at the resort, by far.
I also love that you do not have to wait in line to ask for a cup of water...here, nor at any other restaurant in the parks. It may be intimidating at Award Wieners because of the long queues staring right at you, but the cups of water are prepared, iced, and waiting for you, so don't be afraid to walk right up to the window.

Just okay, like with everything Disney lately, prices have gone, but portions and quality are lower. Service is fine and the place is easy to find and get to at DCA.
Used to actually enjoy the food here, especially the fries and some of the specialty hot dogs.
The fries themselves are probably my favorite fries at the Disney.
The carne asada fries however, are very disappointing. Small portions and not flavored well. The beef is not seasoned well at all. The guac is meh. The green salsa has no spice. The whole dish just had an overwhelmingly strong citrusy taste.
I blame myself for it, why am I getting carne asada fries fries at Disney when there’s so many other places to get it at around the area.

I ordered through mobile since it’s usually much quicker, but this time it really wasn’t. When we walked up, the line was super long (as expected), but my friend who waited in the regular line actually got her food before me and my two friends who had placed mobile orders. After standing around in the hot sun waiting, our food finally came out, and honestly…it was just okay. Nothing terrible, but definitely not worth the long wait this time.

I have no idea of the food is good I ordered $90 worth of food today at at 1:00 for a 1:20 window pickup and at 2:30 it still wasn't ready unbelievable this place is just a joke California Disney will never be Disneyland and their food will never even compare to what they offer over at Disneyland Parks I honestly wouldn't even waste my time at this park again

Very Poor Customer Service by all Cast Members working on July 10th, 2025, 20 minutes before closing. They were out of everything because they were cleaning up with about 30 people in line and we weren't at the front of it. No Chili for the chili dog and the bacon, peppers and onions were cold on my hot dog.... There were a lot of upset customers and no one seemed to care they just kept shutting it down. It literally took 20 min to get the hot dogs ......

This is a walk-up and order or mobile order place. We ordered through the app. The hot dogs smelled amazing. But they didn't serve it in a way that was easy to walk with. They gave it to us with a tray, while we needed to walk and eat to get to our next item on the agenda. The hot dogs were alright. You could tell they were boiled, so not the best taste. But not horrible. We did enjoy that it was texas toast instead of a bun. The fries were weird at first but tasted good.
The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience.
Food: Hot dogs. They are a bit higher end hot dogs with some niche toppings and styles but it is still a hot dog. The Film strip fries are a must (skip the cutie option). Drinks are theme park standards here (soda, water, etc.).
Service: Disney staff are fast and efficient delivering food and the service is great.
Ambiance: Good ambiance for the Hollywood street feel. The award and hot dogs thing works for the area but if someone gave me a hotdog for an award I would not be feeling it unless I was starving.
