My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the swordfish while my wife enjoyed the pork chops, both of which were excellent. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service from Holly. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and brought a genuine warmth and enthusiasm that made the evening feel special.
We deeply appreciate the care she put into our experience and will certainly be returning soon.

Food is always good. Have been here a few times. Is a little pricey, but its Disneyland, lol. The bar is also cool, lots of cool drinks. Staff is really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is really neat, like the 20s or 30s decor.

Cannot fault the staff but this restaurant was awful - overpriced for mediocre food ($62 for pesto pasta with prawns). Very limited ability to flex, e.g. swap corn for rice. Kids had steak, one portion was ok, the other tiny. Worst of all, it was freezing - as it was 30 degrees we were very lightly dressed! I asked for the air con to get turned down & they said it was controlled in Florida so would take a few hours! The waitress brought extra napkins, but they did little & I felt ill between the hot / cold contrast & left as soon as I could. Awful overpriced experience.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. The restaurant is very nice for an in park restaurant. While I realize that it’s supposed to be a finer option than Blue Bayou, my family and I still prefer Blue Bayou over Cathay Circle. The staff is very friendly and responsive.
We started our meal with the Oaxaca style braised short ribs. Everyone in my family enjoyed it. The Tetela was crispy and delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and well seasoned. The cheese and sauce really bright everything together. We ended up getting a second order. My eldest daughter got the grilled half chicken shawarma. She wasn’t super impressed by it. She let me try it and I agreed that it was nothing special. My younger daughter got the yogurt with granola and the rigatoni pasta. She enjoyed both. My wife got the hanger steak. I tried it and it was just okay. I got the special, which was seated tuna that night. That was fantastic. The dessert followed the trend of most of the rest of dinner and failed to capture our imagination.
For the record, nothing was bad, the service was great. It’s just that there are better options at lower prices points at the Disneyland resort. We will most likely try it again next time and see if other choices work better for our tastes.

Waitress and manager are clueless. We walked out after receiving poor service, I am an international guest and don’t expect to travel this far and put up with the type of low level service I received.

Very very disappointed in the food portion. Beware!!! We both had the swordfish, which was $52/ea. Portion size was less than 3 oz. Tasted great but less than 3 oz. Just wrong anyway you put it. Ordered 2 appetizers that were wonderful. Would I ever go back? No. Do not order the fish!!! Wish I took a picture, you’d be shocked!!

Carthay Circle Restaurant is one of the nicest restaurants in Disney California. They have a rotating menu so it does change throughout the year. Our waiter was top-notch and the atmosphere is like an old Hollywood high-end restaurant. We got the Spanish Potato Croquettes as an appetizer and they were amazing. For my entrée, I got the steak and I loved every bite.

I’ve been there twice recently, and the service was phenomenal. The hostess took time to give some details around the restaurant, which is beautiful, and the server assistant was very attentive. The service both times was prompt and personable, and I felt that they really cared about the customer. The food was amazing, I had a tuna dish that was huge, and a fish of the day another time that was a seafood cioppino that was fantastic. I love getting the bread as well, and my daughter devoured all her food. The pear martini which I got both times was phenomenal. I will always make time to go back there no matter how busy the park is.

So so so so bad. It cost us $400 for the 5 of us and it was so sub par. We would have much rather gotten a corn dog or food from a kiosk. We would have been happier. I worked as a server for a long time and I give a lot of grace but this was bad. Had to send an appetizer back which j never do. It was frozen food deep fried and it was bad bad bad. The enteees at $50-60 a pop were ok. The server forgot all of our kids sides and we were so unhappy with the food thus far we just didn’t even ask for them. The pasta my kids got was literal slop. Overcooked by ten minutes. My husband steak was fine but sub par as well for the price. It was all very bad. Don’t go here. Try the lounge maybe if you want the ambiance.

Enjoyed lunch here with colleagues. Unlike pre-Covid, there is inky a prix fixe menu for lunch on weekdays at $62 per person. However, you get to select an appetizer and a main course.
Appetizers: I ordered the green chickpea appetizer (think falafel), it was tasty and surprisingly ample with 4 discs provided in a roasted red pepper sauce with pomegranate seeds 5*). My partner had the gazpacho, which was melon (cantaloupe) based. It wasn’t orange but tasted of cantaloupe and was white-ish. He said it was good and gave it 4*. A friend ordered the prosciutto bruschetta with heirloom tomatoes. She said it was fresh and juicy but small (4*).
Main course: I ordered the chicken schnitzel. It was crispy and tasty, well seasoned and ample with two large flat chicken breasts it was filling (5*). My partner had the Santa Maria marinades trip-tip. I had a piece and it was pretty well seasoned, a good temperature, but was a very small portion (4 small end pieces). He and I would give it 4*. Another friend ordered the shrimp with gochujong and friend rice. They provided 4 lathe tail on jumbo shrimp and it was tasty. She gave it 5*. I tasted it and I agree.
Dessert: the only option was a Mickey ice cream ‘pop’. It was fantastic. It tasted like a Ferrero Roche candy (minus the chocolate) over a vanilla ice cream scoop. As one would imagine, it was delectable. 5*

My first time dinning here, I appreciate that they ask about allergies when taking the order. I have a few allergies, they made sure we were all happy with our choices. The flowers were beautiful and food was delicious. I will definitely return.

I have given up on this place. The first time we went was great. The next time the staff were horrible, they were so rude when I guess in their minds we didn’t order enough food and they were too concerned about their tips to be polite to us. I have worked as a waitress and always tip at least 20%, so this was uncalled for. This last time there admittedly was a mistake we made with our dining reservation. After asking some polite questions and discovering our mistake, we owned it, sat down and tried to make the best of it. While the waiter helping us was nice, the rest of the staff had bad attitudes yet again because we had asked about mistake with the reservation. I guess you are not allowed to ask questions. I find this place is just not worth it for the price with horrible service, serves with major attitude problems, and it’s not up to the Disney standards. Stay away.

Three of us ordered a medium steak every single one was cooked very different. I sent mine back for being overcooked and got a steak back that was even more over cooked. Still got charged full price.
Overall it’s a no for me for the price.
