Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, great Walt Disney ambiance! Our server was superb! We ordered $500 of food, ordering a wide variety of entrees from the menu: appetizers- rolls, Brussel sprouts, artichoke hearts. Main dish: prime rib, pork chop, ravioli, turkey dishes. Everyone in our party agreed—the menu was over priced, and the food was mediocre. Nothing was a wow for anyone. And we so wanted it to be! It was our Christmas celebration dinner! Fantastic high scale food option within California adventures. One of my favorite food options within the park. The service and food were phenomenal but definitely an expensive dining venue. Would highly suggest a reservation as it doesn't seem highly probably that you would get a walk up table. Overall, a great experience for those looking for an upscale dining option within the parks.
A disappointment. Was lucky to get a reservation here on Thanksgiving weeks in advance. My family and I wanted a different Disney dining experience on the holiday rather than cafeteria style turkey dinner or other grab and go options. The ambiance at Carthay is lovely and nostalgic.
