I have nothing but awesomeness to describe this Red Ribbon. I've bought so much of their pastries, breads and cakes this Holiday season I swear I'd contributed to the sugar and flour inflation. Their Mango cakes always makes an amazing impression to all I gift It to - they should rename that the blockbuster cake! Food culture is a looking glass focusing on developed tastes and comparisons. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada filled a long void of not having one in years, not sated by trying the Peruvian kind (with all due respect), whose casing is made from corn. Red Ribbon's chicken filling is more flavorful and replete with chicken texture vis-a-vis Luisa and Sons', which is another good bakeshop with its own satisfying version of the empanada. I bought 2 specials of $20 palabok family platter and 3 empanadas ( according to the advertisement savings of about $4) but when i opened both palabok IT IS LESS THAN WHAT I USE TO GET FOR A FAMILY PLATTER. I would know the difference i always get the platter!
