For Halloween 2025, I tried the Mickey Mummy Shake — a chocolate cookie shake topped with whipped cream, chocolate cream-filled cookie ears, and M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies. I ordered ahead through the app, and it was ready when I arrived, which was super convenient. The shake tasted good, though nothing particularly special flavor-wise. The presentation, however, was really fun and definitely had that festive Halloween look!

One of my favorite places at DCA to get sweet treats!
My latest treat was the Ursula seasonal Mickey waffles filled with Ube custard.
Really good.

Schmoozies!
1. The waffles were soft! The shake was also well-crafted!
2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The exterior is pretty!
3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready within 10 mins!

Had the Ursula Waffles. These were a good alternative treat to regular Mickey waffles. Nice crispy chocolate outside. Found the filling rather tasteless.

Fun themed drinks and snacks
What an incredible find! I just had the most amazing cold brew mocha milkshake at Shmoozies, and it was exactly what I needed on a hot day. The drink was perfectly ice-cold and so refreshing. The balance between the rich chocolate and bold coffee was absolutely spot-on—not too sweet, not too bitter. On top of that, the cast member who helped me was incredibly nice and helpful, making the whole experience even better. I can't wait to go back and get another one!

The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience.
Food: A Schmoozie experience is a sweet experience because you are going to be gettin’ tha suga’! The signature offerings are sweet from the smoothies to the shakes to the Mickey Waffles. This trip I had the Lemon Pound cake shake, Mangonada, and the Mickey-shaped Confetti Waffles. The waffle was warm, crisp, and sweet as advertised. The lemon pound cake shake was lemony (with two actual lemon slices) and again… sweet. The Mangonada was sweet with tequila. If you get beer and coffee you can possibly avoid the sweet but you are not coming to Schmoozies for the coffee.
Service: Used the mobile app to order and the staff gave me a little extra magic on my shake with my lemon Mickey ears. Disney cast members are almost always awesome!
Ambiance: Schmoozies sits on the Hollywood Studios section of Disney California Adventure and feels like it is a part of movie magic and old industry Hollywood. Very easy quick access ordering and pick up. If you are sitting here to watch a parade it is like sitting at the bar while you wait except you are probably sitting on the curb and in the sun… other than that just like you are at the bar.

the mint cookie shake tasted super magical and minty!!! it tasted just like mint chip ice cream, with a nice cookies and cream flavour to it as well. there were crunchy chunks of chocolate / cookie inside which i LOVED, and it was super thick too. the whipped cream on top was super fluffy like a marshmallow, and the rim of the cup was coated with this red sugar which didn’t really do much but it looked cool !

One of the last surviving remnants of the early 2000’s theming that once permeated DCA. Every year I predict they’ll close this place, and every year I’m wrong (we had a brief scare during Covid). Used to come here instead of Starbucks for the $5 coffee schmoozie, which I’m sure is more expensive now.

The smoothie was good but the waffle was very disappointing.
