What an incredible find! I just had the most amazing cold brew mocha milkshake at Shmoozies, and it was exactly what I needed on a hot day. The drink was perfectly ice-cold and so refreshing. The balance between the rich chocolate and bold coffee was absolutely spot-on—not too sweet, not too bitter. On top of that, the cast member who helped me was incredibly nice and helpful, making the whole experience even better. I can't wait to go back and get another one!

The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience.
Food: A Schmoozie experience is a sweet experience because you are going to be gettin’ tha suga’! The signature offerings are sweet from the smoothies to the shakes to the Mickey Waffles. This trip I had the Lemon Pound cake shake, Mangonada, and the Mickey-shaped Confetti Waffles. The waffle was warm, crisp, and sweet as advertised. The lemon pound cake shake was lemony (with two actual lemon slices) and again… sweet. The Mangonada was sweet with tequila. If you get beer and coffee you can possibly avoid the sweet but you are not coming to Schmoozies for the coffee.
Service: Used the mobile app to order and the staff gave me a little extra magic on my shake with my lemon Mickey ears. Disney cast members are almost always awesome!
Ambiance: Schmoozies sits on the Hollywood Studios section of Disney California Adventure and feels like it is a part of movie magic and old industry Hollywood. Very easy quick access ordering and pick up. If you are sitting here to watch a parade it is like sitting at the bar while you wait except you are probably sitting on the curb and in the sun… other than that just like you are at the bar.

the mint cookie shake tasted super magical and minty!!! it tasted just like mint chip ice cream, with a nice cookies and cream flavour to it as well. there were crunchy chunks of chocolate / cookie inside which i LOVED, and it was super thick too. the whipped cream on top was super fluffy like a marshmallow, and the rim of the cup was coated with this red sugar which didn’t really do much but it looked cool !

One of the last surviving remnants of the early 2000’s theming that once permeated DCA. Every year I predict they’ll close this place, and every year I’m wrong (we had a brief scare during Covid). Used to come here instead of Starbucks for the $5 coffee schmoozie, which I’m sure is more expensive now.

The smoothie was good but the waffle was very disappointing.

Do not get an alcoholic coffee of any kind. They are absolutely terrible. We got the cold brew and a latte and both were absolutely awful.

Schmoozies! has yummy milkshakes but my go to is always an affogato. It’s always quick and service is friendly. Can’t go wrong for a yummy treat! It’s only a take out window, no inside seating.

Beware if you plan on ordering the seasonal Alpine shake- made with cherry, chocolate chip, & pistachio, it looks NOTHING like the picture and tastes just like a regular chocolate shake. I attached a picture of the advertised shake compared to what I actually received. First, there is no taste of cherry or pistachio. The color of the milkshake is supposed to be pink. However, halfway through drinking it, I realized it was all chocolate. I went to tell one of the staff members and she blew it off and said that it was an old picture it’s not pink anymore. Then why advertise it? Just take it off the menu if you can’t produce the actual product. Also, you can see in the picture it’s half whipped cream. Definitely NOT WORTH $13.28. Come on Disney, get it together. We are already spending an arm and a leg, if I buy a $13 shake I want it to be worth it.
Be careful with mobile orders. Takes forever , and watched them clear the line twice, forgot to order for myself and made a separate order to only have my drink beat the 3 drink order.Watermelon lemonade was tart and refreshing at least.

Watermelon lemonade was refreshing. However, the soft serve that was added was so thicccc that you'll basically be enjoying this separately. You'll drink all the juice first and then just still be eating soft serve after. It's a pleasant and refreshing beverage for a hot summer day but I wouldn't go out of my way for this unless I was craving a dessert and happen to be right here.
Try the strawberry banana smoothie!
