I've been coming to the park for over 40 years now and I don't think I've ever set foot in this place EVER. The only reason why I learned about this is because I heard about this Churro Sundae they served which was just OK to me. The best thing about this place is the setting because it feels like you are truly in the movie set for a burlesque club or saloon. The Golden Horseshoe is a themed eatery located in the heart of the theme park, capturing the charm of an old Western saloon. Although the quality of its food has seen some decline over time, the restaurant still provides a welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a break from the park's hustle and bustle, with plenty of seating available. While the exterior and entryway are currently under construction, the inside offers a cool space to relax. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring good service for all guests.
The menu features popular choices like chicken tenders, fish and chips, and chili cheese fries, all of which have received positive feedback for their taste and generous portions. Guests have noted the reasonable prices considering its location within the park. A refreshing soft drink or a root beer float can complement the meal nicely. Although the piano player is no longer present, visitors can still enjoy the inviting ambiance, making it a pleasant spot for families and individuals alike. Overall, The Golden Horseshoe is a suitable stop for good food and a touch of nostalgia in the heart of Disneyland.
