About Winchell's Donut House

Winchell's Donut House is a popular breakfast destination known for its delectable donuts, bagels, and coffee. Customers praise the attentive service, with one reviewer highlighting the helpful staff member who assisted in selecting donuts. The menu offers a variety of options, including the Xtreme Melt bagel and the Black Forest and Bacon bagel sandwich, which have been described as "phenomenal." While the small size of the establishment may not accommodate dine-in, the quality of the food more than makes up for it, with reviewers recommending the donuts, chocolate, cake, and orange juice 100%.

The donuts are often described as soft, delicious, and having a crispy edge with a moist, soft interior. Customers particularly enjoy the white frosting donut with sprinkles. The bread is consistently delicious, and the fresh juices are a hit. However, some customers have noted that the staff can be less than welcoming at times, with a reluctant attitude when taking orders.

The donut selection varies throughout the day, so it's best to arrive early, especially on weekends, to have the best choice. The prices have increased, but the donuts are still considered worth it. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but there is ample parking a short distance away. Winchell's Donut House is a great place to take the little ones, with a handicap-accessible entrance and parking.
