*Closed* I've been meaning to try this spot for a while now. This week I finally decided to give it a try and when I drove up there is a big "Restaurant for Lease" sign and there were people in the restaurant moving equipment out.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and got 2 WOW Meals which came with your choice of meat (can mix & match) and 2 ($7.99) or 3 ($8.99) sides. After trying both the chicken and pork, I think I prefer the chicken a bit more. The pork was a bit too chewy/tough for me. Could have just been a bad piece, though. Both had a smoky/charred taste to them and were drenched with teriyaki sauce. I actually didn't mind the amount of sauce it had since it tasted great over the rice, but if you like yours with less sauce I'm sure you can ask for it on the side. The sides were okay. From the mac salad, grilled onions/bell peppers, and corn, I liked the mac salad the best. The corn tasted like it was straight out of a can and wasn't even heated up :( Skip the pink lemonade slush. It tasted so watered down, it was more ice than it was lemonade. Again, could have just been that day's batch so maybe you can ask for a sample before ordering? Overall, I would say that they give pretty big portions for how much you're paying. However, the quality of the meat is not that great. Would give it a shot again if I'm in the area, but unfortunately, not worth going out of the way for.

Used to like coming here when they first opened and think it already has gone downhill. 1. Dont order online, call it in. Saved me ~$2.50 for a 3-item combo. 2. Echoing others saying the rice isn't great here. It's edible and gets the job done. 3. Portions: I swear the chicken skewers are about 1/2 the size as they originally were. I get that the cost of goods have gone up considerably, but I'm also quite certain the prices have gone up 30%. You would think the serving sizes would remain the same if the prices are rising but not the case. 4. Service: usually have nice, helpful people but the guy who answered the phone was quite dry and unhelpful. Cut me off in my ordering and repeated questions I had already answered. 5. Food: onion and bell pepper tasted like someone opened a can of salt, spilled it all in accident, and just kinda hoped nobody would notice. Everything else was the norm. Maybe I came on an off day, but it'll be a bit before I give this place another shot, unfortunately.

My uncle and I came at least 40 mins before they closed and the food didn’t come till the time they exactly closed, that is completely horrible service especially considering they had no other clients!

I give this place a 3.5 - ATMOSPHERE It's simple inside. Quaint. Nothing really aesthetically pleasing inside, but, we're not here for that. We're here to eat. There's 2 tables outside to sit at. They use sawhorses as seats. Cool concept, but extremely uncomfortable to sit on. - CUSTOMER SERVICE The girl at the counter was pleasant. She definitely seemed tired. I don't blame her, we walked in an hour before closing. I'm sure she just wanted to go home. But, she was sweet enough to walk our food out to us when it was ready. - FOOD I ordered the 2 SKEWER, 2 SIDES combo. I got one pork, one chicken, spicy. I got corn kernels and rice as a side. The skewers were heavily sauced. Too much for me, but nothing a little wipe down couldn't fix. The flavor was fine. I preferred the chicken more than I did the pork. Chicken was cooked well, pork was slightly on the tough side. The corn was ok. It's canned corn. Don't think they do anything to it except heat it up. But it was fine. The rice I did not enjoy. It had a really strange taste and smell to it. Almost like plastic. They do give you A TON of it. I felt like I ordered rice with a side of BBQ and corn. It would've been nice to have some "sawsawan" (dip) options. Maybe some spicy vinegar or something. But, they didn't offer that, unfortunately. - OVERALL I would like to try some of the other sides that they have, so I'd definitely give 'em another try soon!

Sister ordered a bunch of skewers with the mac salad and rice. They were amazing at the party! They were really kind and easy to get along with. The food was also very delicious, I didn't want to stop eating them! They also had frozen lemonade set up for the party that was easy to use since they set it up for you and it was also pretty good. Definitely try them out!
chicken was tender and juicy. Pork was flavor full. cashier was nice enough to give me a set of spice on the side to try.

I love the quirky name of this place, it's also not too far from Knotts berry farm, which was my case when I came here. I got myself the beef teriyaki with rice and macaroni salad. Parking wasn't bad and the cashier was nice.

The teriyaki bowls are mediocre, the sauce is a little off. Portion wise I don't recommend buying the teriyaki plate either since they don't even fill it up. Better off going to another place than trying this one.

I really want to know why this place is called Wow Bbq. I ordered a bunch of stuff about 2 weeks ago and was so disappointed on the food. Usually, our favorite spot is Yaho Grill but it was closed on Sunday so we tried something new. We ordered: pork plate, chicken plate/bowl/ beef bowl, and extra Mac salad. The pork was hard and chewy. The chicken skewer had a gross sweet sauce drenched on it. The beef was more like chopped up ground beef.. and the Mac salad was bland. I'm not a picky person but wow nothing from was place was enjoyable. Not coming back !
