“The name LITERALLY speaks for itself: Best Donuts & Coffee!!! I’ve been to a LOT of donut shops in my life. Even out of state. NOTHING compares to this place. NOTHING! I’ve known the owner since I was a small boy, and I’m now a grown man. She still looks the same too. She might be a vampire. Either way, the donuts are FIRE! “Whenever I come to Pittsburg, I stop at Al’s. I’m not much of a donut eater, but these are classic American donuts. The apple fritter will have your heart racing literally it’s so much sugar and so good. Definitely a treat. The glaze are perfect, fluffy and sweet cooked all the way through but light and not bogged down by oil as a kid I love stopping there and getting hot chocolate and donut on the way to school is still good but there are a lot of other options and it’s a cool place to get your lottery tickets.“

“The sweet smell of donuts enters your nostrils before you even walk in the door. Then you smell the delicious aroma of coffee! I like to come here sometimes on Fridays on my route and pick up a couple breakfast sandwiches. The ladies are so sweet and always do such a good job. They are so pleasant to speak to. “Their donuts are soft & delicious! They had a variety of different donuts. They are a tad pricey. Menu prices for breakfast, lunch, coffee & donuts (single, half dozens, & dozens) are shown in a huge menu on the wall behind the counter. Not sure why someone posted it wasn’t available. Customer service was great. I definitely will go back!“

“I’ve been coming here with my family for years now and never had a problem with the service or quality of food. The donuts are delicious, and the service is fast, easy, and polite. This is a small, family-owned business, so I am always proud to support.

The only thing I would change about Sunshine Doughnut is their lack of vegan and gluten-free options. I know that since this is a small business, it may be more difficult for them to introduce these options, but we live in California, and there’s many people who would benefit from food catering to their dietary needs, including myself.

Nevertheless, I love Sunshine Doughnut and recommend it to anybody in the Brentwood area looking for a quick sweet treat. You won’t regret coming here.“

“I stopped by to grab a bite before heading to Oakland. I ordered the croissant, sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich with potato rounds, and a blueberry donut iced coffee. Aurora was so nice she was able to substitute the creamer with oatmilk. She was so nice with great customer service!“
