“I go weekly and they've changed their frosting. King's had the best donuts for the longest time, but a couple of months ago they changed their frosting, and it's a bad change. It's sweeter, and not as flavorful. Tastes less like chocolate and more like sugar. My kids don't care, and the donut batter and cook is still good, but it's a worse donut than it was a year ago.“

Had an awesome experiance at Johnny’s Donuts this morning. It was 5 AM on Mother’s Day and they still went above and beyond to have my order ready right on time (call a day before to give him a heads up, though you’re gonna be coming). Super friendly customer service, very welcoming people, and just a really pleasant conversation that early in the morning, which honestly made my day.

The freshly baked donut selection is amazing. You got everything from old-fashioned plain, glazed, chocolate, sprinkles, classic twists, and pretty much anything your heart desires. The filled donuts are awsome too, although sounds like those are usually made a little later in the day fresh:(

The inside is actually relatively big and comfortable, not cramped like many donut spots. One of the coolest parts is being able to see a lot of the baking process happening right there. You can tell they really care about quality seen that freshly baked one-to-one beauty laying in front of you and their customers, who are always happy!

“Whenever I come to Pittsburg, I stop at Al’s. I’m not much of a donut eater, but these are classic American donuts. The apple fritter will have your heart racing literally it’s so much sugar and so good. Definitely a treat. The glaze are perfect, fluffy and sweet cooked all the way through but light and not bogged down by oil as a kid I love stopping there and getting hot chocolate and donut on the way to school is still good but there are a lot of other options and it’s a cool place to get your lottery tickets.“
