definitely not your big box asian bakeries. small place that takes cash only and selection is small but have the usual stuff. Seems like regulars come often, i was stuck behind the line where the regulars are chatting it up with the staff in Chinese.

When I was a child my parents use to get me my birthday cake from this bakery every year- since then we have moved to Ohio and I have become an adult but this was my favorite cake of all times. Every time we are back in this area we stop by for a cake just to celebrate. Thank you for all the good memories!

Note: this place is CASH ONLY!Skip the big bakeries such as 85 Degrees and JJ Bakery that sell cakes made up of 90% frosting. Ellie’s Pastries has a delicious selection of cakes that are beautifully decorated and taste just as good as it looks. I got the European Chocolate cake for my sister’s birthday and I loved how it wasn’t overly sweet.

I have been buying Mrs. Xiang’s cakes for a long time. This is my first time buying from this store. I used to buy them at the San Gabriel store. This is the first time I have had a problem in so many years. Today I bought a cake made with taro paste. The taro paste was sour! Your store is awesome!
One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. I’m genuinely surprised there aren’t more reviews. This place is like a hidden gem. They have a huge variety of baked goods and all at an unbelievable price. I’m writing this review while I’m walking out the door to go buy some more Pork Buns. I suggest you get ready and go get some too!

Classic Taiwanese Bakery. Solid selection of different buns, both steamed and baked.Cakes are not overly sweet either! Really classic taste.
Love the cup cake sponge cake, also the crispy cake (put crispy layers between sponge cake)
The one with corn is my absolute favorite. A must have every time I'm here!
