We were their first customers of the day so it took a few minutes to get our food (10-15 minutes) and totally worth it. My love for spicy runs deep, but I didn't want to go overboard with it so I opted to go for hot tenders and waffles. I liked that it was a dry rub and I found the hot was great, but I definitely will go for the extra hot next time . My wife & I had Jay Bird's on our LA "Nashville" hot chicken must try list... rain or shine we had a mission! What do you know, it's been raining in SoCal recently! Not sure the exact location at first, we went on our mission. Jay Bird's ended up being located in a mall. WOW, it was super clean & the food was sooooo delicious. Talk about freshness. I was craving a hot chicken sandwich and this place in the mall happened to be the closest to my location. I ordered a medium spicy baby jay sandwich. The sandwich was handed to me within 5 minutes of ordering.The exterior breading of the chicken was very crispy while the meat inside was still juicy.
