The food is really good I usually dine in and never order pick up because I like to pick my own food. I ordered pick up yesterday (they fill your bowl for you) food was great until I was halfway done eating and I found a half inch worm in my soup that was dead it looked like a kind of Caterpillar. I threw the food away ? safe to say I won’t be eating here again cause I can’t get the image of a dead worm in my soup out my head.

The Malatang that came from China is really just average. It's only spicy, but it has no aroma, so it's not worth it. The clerk's service is very attentive.

I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.
**UPDATE** Just a heads up. If you can’t eat mild this place won’t be for you. They can’t alter the broth. The only option is the tomato broth which is no spicy.

A huge selection of items for malatang which is awesome. I prefer dry pot and the dry pot is just not as good as Yin Tang’s dry pot. It’s lighter on the sauce which makes it bland. But the biggest issue is their peanut sauce is watered down.

What can I say, wanted to try it today before leaving LA, and it was pretty good at first. But when I went in and sat at a table, I didn't know how to sit at the table according to my sign. Because it was my first time there, but a waiter asked me very rudely which table are you sitting at? I was very confused at the time, because I chose a table and was about to sit down. The woman basically yelled at me and said, "Which table should you sit at, one person or two people?" I said there were two of us, and he said you have table 14, so I said ok. She could obviously talk to me nicely, but her attitude was obviously very irritating. I really don't want to say anything to such a rude person, so I just don't give him a tip or anything. Even though she doesn't care about this, I should yell back. Instead, my boyfriend was so angry that he scolded me a lot, hahahahahaha. Friends, this restaurant is delicious, but there is no need to go here and suffer from the bad habits of the waiters. (It’s a waitress without glasses)
