“Went two days in a row because it was so good. I had the French toast and some sausage and both were excellent. Wife had the pancakes and they were huge.Very friendly owner and a lot of locals there. Also had local produce for sale and the orange juice was fresh squeezed although we had tea.“

“Our server was really in tune with our needs. Her personality was infectious and much needed. My sister and I were just leaving town after our father passed away. With heavy hearts, we celebrated him with a breakfast before leaving. Our family appreciated the experience. Thank you so much.“

“Best burritos in town. My coworker introduced me to Backwood burritos, had no idea Arcata was home to breakfast burritos this good. Friendly guy who charges a very fair price for a very tasty burrito, a 10/10. Just be sure to follow his Instagram to be able to get updates on when he’s selling!“
