“Hands down the best Chinese food we have found in the humboldt area. Quick for large takeout orders and DELICIOUS! Vegetarian? No problem! You can get fried tofu subbed in any of your old favorite dishes (looking at you orange tofu and sweet and sour tofu). Good portions served family style and you always get a box of white rice with your entrees as well. Everything you’re looking for in good reliable spot to order some Chinese food. The workers are quick and professional and the food is flavorful. Make sure to check out the coconut buns and vegetable chow fun!“

“Was going to review the food but then….
I just read this review and… I’m shaking my head, I am a local who’s been eating here for a long time and this honestly made me laugh out loud, not only am I a very dark skinned person but there is many dark skinned staff members at this restaurant so this comment comes off very unbelievable to me.
I have never been discriminated here and find everyone very kind, my waiter there was a young dark skinned girl and also like I said I am very dark skinned, so this is just laughable to me and not a review I would find accurate or helpful at all I also find it so odd that who ever wrote this review felt the need to state the skin color of the accused party maybe they are a bit colorist in there statement ??‍♀️

“We ordered four entrees and an order of egg rolls. The service was quick and so polite. The portions were generous and tasty.“

“We, as a family were distraught, I had a little trouble following Google maps to the Panda Cafe only because my eyes were full of tears. We ordered food which was all very delicious and carefully prepared. The demeanor of the people who cooked and served the food was gracious and understanding as if they knew what our family was going through. We used to live in San Francisco and so we are familiar with different international cuisines. This was something more. This was a wonderful dinner graced with human kindness and understanding.

“I love eating here. The cost and portions are great. The lunch specials are a really good deal. I've tried so many things on the menu now that I'm not going to list everything that I love, because its everything I've tried. Can't pick a favorite item. Today we had a big order and when we got home we were missing an item. we went back and they were apologetic and nice. they even through in an extra item as an apology without us even having to ask. That's good business!“

“I'm not sure why people are complaining about the food or the service. This is probably one of the rare food places in this town that has decent food for a good price. The lady that works there is quiet, stern and prompt, but that's just in her culture. I never got sick and I purchased three plates and had them as left overs for the week that I was stuck in this small town. They tend to get busy in the evening, otherwise the food is tasty.“
