One of the best mocha's in Humboldt, hands down. Great service, always smiling, and I need to try more of their food too. Tucked away in a corner, but brimming with exuberance! Check them out if you haven't already.

We were very happy with everything we got here: pour over coffee was very good, espresso was great, and we enjoyed the Humboldt Fog (earl grey latte), plus the baked goods were delicious. Nice spot with a low-key location, a simple outdoor area to enjoy our drinks, and vegan options to meet all of our needs.Vegetarian options: It was easy to order vegan options, with multiple choices for non-dairy milks in the coffee, and clearly labeled pastries in the pastry case.

This place has such good food and coffee. Their ingredients and combination of them are excellent. What delicious food and coffee. Their tortilla soup and also their corn soup are amazing. Today I tried a mole latte and it was delicious. Thank you so much!

I'm heartbroken to leave a bad review, I usually give a place three visits before I'll post a review. This place only got two chances, and I wanted this place to be a big win when it opened. However, I haven't had a good experience here and that seems to be the same experience listening to friends in town. The espresso tastes bitter and acidic. And they won't make a cappuccino or latte the way you ask; no wet or dry, no half caf, no 2% (whole and oat milk only), and no customer service. They make it their way and you like it or you don't . I didn't. And the baked goods are mediocre. I reached out after my last visit to make sure I didn't just get bad baristas, or show up on a bad day, but got no reply. No third chance for Familia, too many good options nearby.

Best coffee shop in town. Every ingredient is top notch and the quality shows through in the final product. Everything I’ve had has been 10/10 delicious! Best chocolate chip cookies I’ve had.

This cafe was pretty great in the past, and it could be great again. Unfortunately, right now they're only offering milk to add to your coffee. So, us heavy cream people and half and half people are SOL. Based on my love of this place, I tried making the milk work. I had a pourover yesterday and an americano the day before... it didn't work. I hate to say it, but, until this changes I can't come back.

Olive oil cake is delish, sad when it's all gone. Love going for the 5-7pm language exchange event on the first and second Fridays of the month.

Note to management: a Monday holiday is going to bring out the crowds, like families with kids. Staff appropriately. The staff were shorthanded on MLK day and were putting up a heroic effort to keep us all fed and caffeinated. Where was management? Cortados hare my go-to here, and they have A2 milk so I can have milk! My companions usually go for the creatively flavored lattes which they seem happy with. Interesting selection of cookies/pastries haven't disappointed. Food is also good, like the salmon toast. I think they bake their own bread and bagels too, though I didn't see the latter. The breakfast sandwich is my staple. And here there was a problem. It was always served on a delicious brioche, but this time on a store bought English muffin. Why? Maybe the bakers are on vacation? I make a similar sandwich and this was, sadly, not better than mine.

Nice little coffee/lite meal place off the beaten path, tucked back in the Creamery District. Seating is outdoors and high chairs are available. Very casual ambiance. Excellent coffee. I tried the avocado toast, "Eureka style" (arugula, fresh tomato slices and red pepper flakes added). The bread was a scrumptious, thick sliced wheat or multigrain sourdough, expertly toasted with toppings that were plentiful (maybe just slightly light on the avocado) and made for a great breakfast. Open at 7:30 am.

Best spicy chai in Arcata!!! Out of all the cafe’s in Arcata, I’m always looking for the best spicy chai. And they have it! They also carry A2/A2 milk which is the only cafe I’ve been to that has this milk. Hurrah!

This place is a hidden gem! Deep in the creamery district right behind Hashi, you'll find what looks like an industrial building that makes the best coffee ever! I had a vanilla bean latte, which was delicious. Super friendly and helpful people working here. And they have a great food menu... It feels like a locals joint, because it really should be crazy busy but it is not... This is a place you can go before you've had your coffee and not be overwhelmed, mellow vibe. My only complaint is the sign doesn't say coffee first. It's cute, and I love the name and the premise for this place... but I am just now finding this place because it doesn't say coffee on the sign on Alliance. I used to think Café Brio had the best coffee in Arcata... This place wins that award from here on out.

The best coffee drinks I have ever had, inclusive of in Florence. Many helpful and cheerful workers. Love the patio when it is dry and warm enough to sit out there; there is no inside seating.

Took 35 minutes to serve two coffees. It wasn’t even busy.
