The food is overpriced for students, the staff is lacking in the locations, and the different food choices are also lacking. Due to the President's choice to outsource, he has cut out the low pricing offered before as well as good vegan/vegetarian options. For the amount of students passing through, they MUST up their game or they will lose student loyalty.

The Depot at Cal Poly Humboldt is a cafeteria-style restaurant with a variety of food options. Visitors can enjoy delicious and affordable sushi, as well as tasty burritos. The process of ordering may be a bit confusing at first, but the food quality makes up for it. Vegetarian options like soyrizo breakfast burrito and vegan/vegetarian lunch burrito are available. The potato korroke burger is highly recommended, although it may be on the pricier side. Located in the middle of campus, parking is not available. Overall, The Depot offers a mix of flavors for those looking for a quick and satisfying meal.
