The pastries and drinks are alright. The staff aren’t very friendly unless you’re a regular. There can be no one else in the shop and four of them behind the counter and they’ll take their time before they come over and help you.

ordered the sweet corn cream latte. it's one of the best coffee i've ever had! corn flavor comes through without overpowering the coffee. the cream top is amazing! will stop by here every time i'm in the area. 🫶🏽

Environment ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ The space itself is fine, but it gets quite loud and isn’t suitable for working. Parking at the plaza is difficult—very limited spots, and the spaces are narrow, which adds to the hassle.
Coffee ⭐⭐⭐⭐½☆ • Cream Top ⭐⭐⭐⭐½☆ The coffee itself isn’t too strong and not very acidic, which makes it easy to drink. I especially liked the cream top—it’s light and smooth, not heavy or overly sweet.

Came here on Thanksgiving Day. They were the only one open in the whole vicinity. Flat White is prob the worst Flat White I’ve ever had. They don’t know how to make one and shouldn’t offer it if they don’t. This is like a Starbucks Cappuccino circa 90s. The Matcha Tonic and Matcha Latte werre good. They have Ube Lattes and think this is prob what this place excels at. They need to get coffee right for this ti be Artisan Coffee. Suggest a rebrand as Homeboy Matcha.

The homeboy coffee and Matcha drink was very good I was pleasantly surprised and I had the coffee cake, the waffle and the popular cookie croissant with filling. Everything tasted yummy and I will be coming back 👍 I’m not a big crowd person and it was busy on a Saturday. The place is a looking minimalist vibe and clean. I’ll go again on a week day and see if it’s not as busy but it definitely didn’t stop us from getting our larger order to us within 5mins.

My favorite coffee shop in Cerritos! They have a vast menu of drinks and the ambiance is welcoming and cute. I always go to this spot when I am craving a matcha or any drink - I feel for its price and size, it's worth it as some other cafes have smaller sizes and the same price. Really enjoy Homeboy :)
