Moobongri is a traditional authentic Korean restaurant specializing soondae ( blood sausage)!
We ordered:
- seafood pancake
- ox bone soup with glass noodle ( recommend )
-soondae soup ( recommend )
- spicy pork neck bone soup ( recommend )
- beef rib soup with glass noodle
I love how the soup also comes with rice, and some with glass noodle, very comforting food.
Parking: Small parking lot but you can also street park

my thoughts:
if you like korean food, specifically soondae soup and steamed brisket, defly check out moo bong ri soondad in artesia area! super authentic taste and it’s a bang for your buck type of meal, because one portion could feed up to 4 people!

Moo Bong RI has some of the most authentic Korean food. Since it was our first time at this restaurant, we ordered 3 different dishes to compare, and they did not disappoint.
However, out of the three dishes, I personally found that the Ox Bone Broth with Brisket was the tastiest soup ever.
I finally had the chance to try the Soondae (blood sausage), and it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The sausage (casing) was soft and tender with a nice bite to it. And, the Makgeolli makes the meal that much better with the perfect sweetness.
I highly recommend Moo Bong RI restaurant.

I was invited to Moobongri for my Instagram food blog (@catrinoms) and had a great experience! Moobongri is a very famous/popular Korean soup spot that also serves other Korean traditional authentic foods. I tried the Galbi Jjim, Soondae Soup, and Pork Belly Soup. The soondae is sooo delicious, I can see why it’s their specialty. Also loved all the veggies and ingredients in the Galbi Jjim. The pork belly soup was also very comforting! The Galbi Jjim is a new menu item, along with Hinoki Brisket or Pork Belly with Veggies, which I can’t wait to try next time!

I’ve been to several Moo Bong Ri locations, but this one is the best. Among all the gukbap places near OC, this is the top choice.

I visited here with my friend for dinner and was impressed by the diverse menu. As a huge fan of Korean food, I ordered the Spicy Soondae Soup Combo, Hinoki Beef Brisket, and Assorted Sundae Platter. The soondae soup was packed with flavorful ingredients, and the soondae itself was chewy and delicious. All the dishes were generous in portion and incredibly tasty, leaving us fully satisfied! The restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come again!??????

This is such an awesome spot that serves Korean traditional authentic food. They are known for their soondae and soups but I decided to try their new additions to the menu, spicy braised beef short ribs and hinoki-brisket with veggies. Both were very huge portions and tasted so amazing! I especially love the beef short ribs and adding cheese on top made it extra delicious.

This Korean soondae soup restaurant is fantastic. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the soondae is tender and delicious. The side dishes, especially the kimchi, are great additions. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend for a Korean meal.

This review is for the 2 soups I tried, without Soondae. We ordered the spicy beef soup, the beef rib soup, and the sweet braised beef rib which was my favorite.
The soups were rich in flavor and all the banchan is top tier. I was excited to try their kimchi, I heard is the best, and I will confirm it was really really good!
The restaurant was clean and service was wonderful the day I visited.
They have a small plaza parking lot, but you might have to find free street parking. Give it a try! I’ll definitely be back for their braised beef rib.

Not as good as the original moo bong ri soon dae…. Soondae is so small and the skin is too chewy. Stir fried soondae has only little bit of soondae and it’s def not worth the price. It’s pretty spicy which I liked. Overall it was ok but I wouldn’t crave this place.

The sundae soup was not smelly than I thought. And lots of meat inside. I love how they have different kinds of toppings and (refillable) side dishes. ☺️

I submitted a few things, but I couldn't help but leave a review, so I'm leaving a review. The food is tasteless and the service is poor. The seolleongtang tastes so strong that it feels like prim tang. It was too tasteless to recommend to anyone, so I gave up. Maybe it was because the restaurant was in a hurry to prepare. It will never come back again. Not even one star is worth it.
Parking: They do have own parking I guess. But I have to park outside street.
