Chinese Restaurants near Atascadero

“Brand new restaurant and much needed in Atascadero. I'll start with the positive. The food is DELICIOUS and fresh. High quality food and well done. We got the Kung pao beef. There were fresh vegetables to go with the well seasoned beef. My wife got beef broccoli. The broccoli was fresh and good and had a crunch. We got the sesame seed rice balls. Not what we expected but wanted to try them.
The service was lacking to say the least. Both of our orders came with white rice. We didn't get it and had to ask. Then only brought out one side. They never checked back with us to see how things were or if we needed anything, like a refill on our water. The table next to us had to get up to ask for the rest of their order. It's a new opening and hoping service gets better.
They had a constant flow of to go orders which may be a good option for the service.
Overall would recommend and give them the opportunity to improve on their service because the food is delicious.“

“Good food for a good value.... I always get it to go because it so loud inside with all woks and pots and pans banging around but the food is always very fresh and the employees are always very courteous so I would recommend it to all..... Enjoy it....“

“The food at Jackie’s China Gourmet Restaurant is fantastic! I’ve had the sweet and sour pork, the sesame chicken, and the dumplings. Every time I come here, I’m highly satisfied and can’t eat enough. I look forward to returning next time I am in town.“

“yummy delicious but i shouldn’t have to put my own rangoons and eggrolls in their baggies. I ordered 3 orders of rangoons (3x3) and 3 eggrolls. they were all for FOUR different people. They did not have to come in a bowl if they were ordered separately if i wanted them in the same bowl then i would’ve ordered the 12 count of cheese rangoons since its cheaper. Unless asked for don’t change how u serve stuff. If you are trained to put a set of 3 cheese rangoons in one baggie then do that. I shouldn’t have had to do it. Now ur food is delicious so 5/5 on that but please don’t do that. Again this is just a critique no hate to this panda cuz the food is firetastic“

“For about $20 per person, this small buffet turned out to be quite the pleasant surprise. Despite initial doubts about buffets in smaller cities, the food quality exceeded my expectations. The layout is simple with just a few aisles, but there's a good variety of rice and noodles.As someone who enjoys seafood, I appreciated their offerings of fried shrimp, mussels, and the unexpected squid. They also have a decent selection of chicken dishes. Dessert options are satisfying, and I particularly enjoyed making a root beer float from their unlimited sodas and ice cream cones.I'd recommend giving this place a try if you're looking to fill up. I drove from CalPoly since there aren't many buffet options nearby, and I found the place to be clean with great service.

Kid-friendliness: I think the owner himself served the customers, and he seems to greet a lot of little kids that probably come a lot.“
