“I showed up randomly at 2am today 6/29 because I was visiting a friend in Paso Robles. This place is open 24/7, and it had free parking and decent reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I waited for the only other customers to leave the open window for ordering, and I made my way to make my order. I was greeted by a Filipina with a very positive and friendly vibe, which was peculiar so early in the morning. She offered me cronuts, which just came out and were still warm. I took one and a Gatorade and ate it next to my Mustang. Not lying, but it was probably one of the best pastries I’ve ever tasted, even better than Stan’s Donuts in Santa Clara, and also better than my favorite places in Paris and Rome overseas. I went back to the window for more, and the Filipina baker gave me a generous deal for 5 more fresh cronuts, two with strawberry topping. I’m Filipino too, and I felt like I had a memorable connection with the staff and food. This place should be on the bucket list of anybody visiting California. My only regret is not being able to tip much this time. Wish the staff the best and hope to see them again.“
