Great, fresh sushi! They have tamari and communicate well about gluten free substitutions. Service is a-ok. I do wish they made the ambience more cozy or traditional or inviting. Having many screens all around is a big minus for me. I love that they have hamachi kama and the sashimi has always been very fresh.
My buddy and I were getting drinks and shooting pool nearby then hit us that we were hungry. So we decided to give this place a try. It was kinda late on a Saturday and there was absolutely no one besides us in there which kind of weirded me out. We ordered some asahi beer, warm saki and four sushi rolls. I hate to say this but we ORIGINALLY went to Auburn for the pizzeria next door but we were on a time crunch and the wait was going to be too long, so we came to Ninja Sushi because it was empty (still wondering why).
