Bistro at the Atwater Reviews
Staff was extremely helpful & kind.
Leticia and Rosie were so sweet and friendly I actually came back a second time on the same morning. They serve Illy coffee for both drip and espresso, which is a personal fave. I only wish it were brewed a tad stronger, but then I like my coffee really dark. Bagel was also very fresh.
Very basic coffee bar located adjacent to The Atwater hotel lobby. Serves pastries and coffee. I ordered cappuccino and it came sweetened. Interesting that the post office shares the same space

Bistro at the Atwater offers good coffee, including Illy for both drip and espresso, and a nice tea selection, but lacks gluten-free options. The bakery items, such as the croissant, muffin, and apple strudel, are well worth the wait even if there is a line. The ham and cheese croissant is a popular choice for breakfast. While the service and drink quality have faced some criticism, some guests have found Leticia and Rosie to be sweet and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Atwater is well maintained and fun to walk around, making it convenient for guests staying at the hotel. However, others may prefer alternatives in Avalon for better breakfast options and friendlier service. The bistro is not large and has limited hours, making it a good spot for those in a hurry who want breakfast items to go, while enjoying the unique experience of being near a post office.
