Absolutely worth the trip off the 5!! I’m dreaming of my Sope with a side of rice and beans mmmmm
We love trying new spots on vacation, and this stop in Avenal did not disappoint! We ordered the chicken and asada tacos, which came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor—the portions were generous and extremely filling.

Absolutely worth the trip off the 5. We had the carne asada, buche, cabeza, pescado and quesabirria with a side of rice and beans.
The food is well priced, the quality is fantastic, and we got to watch the World Cup. Would come back again.
