Waze directed us out of the way of traffic into Avenal. It ended up being the scenic route. It looks kind of sketchy from outside almost like it was closed or they didn't want you to come inside. Even though no one else was in the dining room at 11am Saturday morning July 1st of holiday weekend they said I couldn't bring my well behaved dog inside. They should of started the phone conversation with the current wait time I made a super long order and then told me it was a 1 hr wait or more Didn't end up eating there afterall.

Made a pit stop here with my co-worker. The town doesn't receive a lot of visitors so when you open the door and walk into the restaurant, it may look close because the lights are off and you might not see anyone. But don't fear, it is open - just say "hello" very loud. This is a small mom and pop shop so the waitress will be taking your order and then making your food afterwards too.
