“Centrally located in the quaint historic downtown, on a side street with little traffic. Handicap parking spot right in front of the shop. A few tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy your coffee in the sun. Large, bright interior with bright sunlight shining through the window. Plenty of seatings with high top and regular chairs. While busy when visiting there was basically no wait. Served quickly by a young, friendly and attentive associate. Good selection of hot and cold beverages and nice pastries. Counter area and tables were kept very clean. Great quality and reasonable pricing. Excellent find, will be our must stop when coming to or passing through SLO!“

“We got into the area kind of late and wanted a good pizza for the kids. I went and ordered carry out and had a beer while I waited. The staff was super friendly and the pizza was some of the best we’ve had! We got a half supreme and half bacon/sausage. Definitely recommend!“

“Walking into the Del Monte Café feels like stepping back in time—in the best way possible. The vintage charm and cozy atmosphere instantly set the tone for a relaxed and nostalgic dining experience. The service was excellent. Our waitress was both friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Food-wise, it was mostly great. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the ranch dressing was surprisingly standout—creamy, flavorful, and clearly homemade. My turkey melt, while tasty, was a little on the soggy side. My companion enjoyed the French dip, though noted the portion size was on the smaller side. Meals were priced around $16–$17, which seems about average for the area. I’d definitely come back to try a burger next time, and I’ve heard their breakfasts are excellent—especially the ones with chili. A solid local spot worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a classic diner vibe“

“We love love LOVE The Madonna Inn! My husband and I have been to the steakhouse a few times now and this was our first time going to The Copper Cafe for our niece's 10th birthday. Everyone was so kind and patient with our larger group of 9, 4 of them being children. Our food was so good and the slices of cake that we had were delicious. The aesthetic and ambiance can't be topped and my niece loved getting to walk around and look at everything before spending some of her birthday money in the gift shop. We can't wait to visit again!“

“I love this place! I got probably 3 or 4 tims a month. Everything crepes are awesome! They went up in price but still solid. Their snow Taro and Thai tea boba are freaking perfect. I wish they were open earlier, but I understand it's on the college side of town. The guys in the mornings are super friendly!“
“Great airport. I was rerouted from Santa Barbara last min and was a little concerned since I was traveling with a pet. Best airport ever!! Had a potty area outside after security. I could make sure she was ready to get on the plane right before. When you fly with a pet you know the fear of an accident. What a relief for both of us. Plus it was nice to just sit outside in the sun while you wait.“

“My husband selected Fat Cats for lunch on vacation because he used to be a regular 30+ years ago. I can't rave enough about our experience! We actually got there between the lunch and dinner rushes and were met by extremely friendly crew! The diner was pleasantly decorated and the seating was comfortable. However nothing prepared me for my meal. I ordered the ahi burger. It was perfectly seasoned, cooked, and accompanied. Definitely will stop by every visit to this part of Cali!!!“
