Taco Bell in Bakersfield

“My partner and I were enjoying our one full day off this week and decided to keep it simple: a Taco Bell delivery through DoorDash. No cooking, no dining out—just a relaxed day at home.

Everything was smooth until I realized I couldn’t customize items on the DoorDash menu. Since I have to avoid dairy for health reasons, this was a problem. I called the store directly and spoke with (I believe) Zane. Even though he was clearly busy, he was patient, helpful, and worked with me to make sure the “no cheese” notes were added to my order in real time.

That small gesture made a big difference. After a long week of work, it was a relief not to run into order issues or have to leave the house. Because of the service I received, I’ll be saving this Taco Bell as my go-to location moving forward.

Thank you, Zane—you turned a technical hiccup into a positive experience. This store gets my recommendation for anyone looking for great customer service with their Taco Bell favorites.“

“This is such a nice Taco Bell. The employees are professional and courteous. Our order was correct. It was delicious. The new chicken tenders were recommended. They were right! Yummy and not at all dry. There was this lovely employee who bought lunch for a local, frequent person who's down on his luck. It was heartwarming to see that he was treated with such civility and kindness. We'll definitely be returning and recommending this Taco Bell location“

“My only problem here, this time only, was the dry quesadilla. Usually you can't go wrong with the food here so I think it was a one off. The clerk at the window was awesome! Gave me my drink while I paid, smiled the whole time, made sure I had everything I needed, and thanked me for waiting. (Less than 5 minutes)“

“Really nice taco bell with very friendly and helpful staff. I looked at certain combos online on my app before I came. I noticed the drive-thru prices or significantly higher on the combos than in the app. Drive-thru staff helped me understand how ordering on the app works and even explained that you want to do it about 10 minutes in advance so that they have time to get the food ready and then all you have to do is pull in, give them your name and then pull around and pay . I got my combo at the price that is on the app which made me very happy. The food was great. The chips were crispy and fresh, the soda was highly carbonated (hate flat soda) and we were pleased with our meal.“

“In Bakersfield with my Brother and decided to eat before heading back to Porterville. Lots happenning at a motel that was across the street. Live Life as it happens..Ate & bounced. Staff was friendly, all females, & they were doing their jobs flawlessly.

“This Taco Bell location has the best atmosphere and staff! They are so friendly and welcoming!!! Shane, Ariana, Ash, Rocko, Marcos, and Nicolas and Aliyah give the best service and hospitality. “I was impressed when i decided to stop at this taco bell to eat the service was amazing very friendly and the food was amazing the girl that took my order saved me some money by telling me about a offer thar they had that would make it cheaper when I'm around that area I try and stop there I would definitely recommend coming here very clean place as well lobby and bathrooms were spotless I give it a 10 out of 10“

“Food tasted pretty good, nothing special though, it's a Taco Bell. The atmosphere is okay, although hobo is coming by every now and then but that's Bakersfield for ya. It's mainly serviced by those automated kiosks but you can still have your order taken by an employee too. All in all, nice place.“

“Great food, but the problem is have with this location is that they force you to use self-service computers. Is this a way to get rid of jobs since their wages are so high? Yes, I do not agree with them making 21.00 a hour. But, using computers is going to put more people out of jobs. Less jobs more homeless.“

“The employees were a gas. I haven't had such a good time ordering fast food in my life. The food was standard for Taco Bell. The soda machine was under repair when I visited. But I would come again simply based on the customer service.“

“Love this Taco Bell location 100%! Very happy with their menu, especially the Y2K items (7 layer burrito!!) that were recently reintroduced. Baja Blast is the best soda created, ever in ever history. Happy with the drinks I received here, they have never been plain soda water when the syrup runs out. Soda syrup and water ratio is always spot on. Food is well put together and delicious. None of my orders have been messed up. Crew is friendly, but professional and very wonderful. Would recommend this location, 5/5 but would give more stars if possible!“

“This Taco Bell location is pretty new, so everything looks fresh and well taken care of. The bathrooms were really clean, which is always a plus,
especially if you’ve been driving for a while and need a decent stop. As for the food, it’s exactly what you’d expect from Taco Bell: quick, affordable, and hits the spot if you’re craving something familiar and fast. It’s not gourmet, but it does the job. If you’re on a road trip and just need a break to grab a bite and use clean restrooms, this place is a solid choice.“

“Let me tell you, I've been going to Taco Bell for years now since they're one of the only fast food spots to offer vegetarian options or vegetarian substitutions. The food and experience have always been subpar so I know to lower my expectations.

However, today, the food was ridiculously delicious, I could not believe it. Whoever was working today (7/24/24) between the hours of 10pm-11pm, kudos to you and your team. Every single item was made correctly and with quality ingredients and the flavor was what I always knew Taco Bell was capable of. I know this is due to the employees who took their time to make the order PERFECT ? THANK YOU!

Special shout out to the star of the show: the Cheesy Street Chalupa (I had the meat substituted with potatoes), it was insanely good and I hope it's here to stay.“

“Food items are constantly changing . The good items that used to be on the menu are no longer there and not able to even be custom ordered. I'm not sure if TB is under new management as a corporate, but the items that sale and people like, shouldn't be taken off the menu. It's almost as TB is leaning towards Keto styled foods.“

“We were traveling from Sandiego to Sacramento, and we stop at this place to eat our lunch, we took chicken quesadilla, OMG! They made it very tasty with enough chicken and sauce in it and the tortilla is fresh and t and tasty, o highly recommend this place if you want to eat Taco Bell, they have an open kitchen and I saw them how they were doing, it’s all hygienic. I didn’t take pictures of quesadillas, after eating I decided to write a review 😆the person who made was AbhiSai. This place is inside a department store, and there is lots of other stuff to buy, fruits, ready to eat sandwiches etc, the restrooms were very clean too.“

“We ordered a pretty large order and asked us to wait up front, they forgot 3 Chicken Flat breads which was not a problem we did have a large order, But “Amber” such a sweet woman as soon as I called she was apologizing feeling bad that they had forgotten to add them in! But I understood sometimes these things happen as well they were busy !

But this taco bell stood out to us!
We went to this taco bell between 310 and 320 pm on 09/08 24 and the young man at the window was exceptionally polite and proffessional!
He also handed us the freshest bag of food that we literally have ever gotten from a taco bell.
I just wish every taco bell coukd follow these standarsds!
The shells were so crunchy ann it was all so fresh and good.
Unfortunately we live far from this taco bell.
The young man at the window is one of the most kindest and polite person that we have dealt with at a drive thru.

“Taco Bell is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, my family and I have been driving for a while and we’re very hungry and we’re happily there was a Taco Bell here, my mom and I each got some nachos, my brother got quesadilla and my dad got chicken tacos.“

“I have been to this taco bell in the past. We came today because we were around the area. I have a good tolerance for their food,😝 as I hear some don't💩 🥸lol.
The service is good.
The only thing we weren't happy about today, is that they forgot some food in our order! We had 2 different box orders including other meals & they put it all in a bag, It becomes messy from moving food around! & you don't know what you're fully missing until you get home because everythingis all together! 😤
If they aren't going to use a box, they should put what an individual box contains in it's own bag! It would Make it easier! Especially when it's a large order!

“Awesome staff at this location. The food was fresh, hot, delicious. All vegetables were crisp and perfect. The beans and ground beef cooked to perfection as well. Very good place to grab a quick bite to eat on the go or to take home and eat. The staff at this location are very friendly and very helpful with all the questions I had about certain items. Pricing is totally reasonable. I really enjoy this location a d would recommend everyone to try it out!“
