“They are the sweetest people. Be aware it is cash only. I was not aware and had my debit card, I did not have enough cash on me for my order. He offered me to come back tomorrow to pay him. I told him I had some cash but I was 4 dollars short. The food was already made and he was sweet and said no worries that it was fine. How sweet of him. I believe he was the owner. The food was delicious and made to order. I had called it in and when I picked it up it was ready and still hot when I got home. 10/10 Definitely recommend. “This place has something called the grande burrito and they mean it this burrito is huge it can easily feed 2 people twice for just under 20$ and it's good you can order it anyway you like it if you ask them to thay will cut it in half and put it into two containers for two people I have a friend that is lactose intolerant and if you tell them they will put the cheese and dairy on the side and a little container so you can choose to add it or not me and my fam always give them a complicated order and they usually always get it right if thay don't they fix it in my opinion it's a low priced option to eat a lot of halfway healthy food in this day and age“

“My goto place to get tacos on my lunch hour. I usually get 4 tacos 2 carne asada and 2 Cabeza with everything with green salsa. They only accept cash as payment. Good thing fastrip is right there to get cash and get a drink. I would highly recommend it.“

The ingredients were fresh, the temperature of the tacos was perfect, and the portion was generous. Thank you for allowing me to savour authentic tacos, as I have never had them before.“

“The pastor tacos were very good, had that authentic Tijuana style flavor. The asada tacos were okay but recommended pastor. The salsas went well with the food. Liked how they have free beans on the side. Horchata didn’t have that original flavor. Outdoor atmosphere.“

“A must try! Authentic Mexican food for sure. We tried their Flautonas with Shredded beef and chicken which is drenched with red and green sauce, cream and cheese. Their Taquitos de Guisado are rolled in a home made flour tortilla try the shredded beef & vegetables one. The fideo soup taste just like my mother in law makes it. We will be back for sure!“

“The carnitas are some of the best I have eaten in Bakersfield and priced better than most places. In twenty five minutes I saw at least fifteen cars stop and pick up meals by their regular customers(Owners knew them.) and that screamed volumes! It’s a Saturday and Sunday event and they close at 2:00 pm according to the signs.

“8/10 did the job, I was craving for some Mexican food since I was in the area , I would like to point out I’m from San Diego and very close to the border with Tijuana so maybe my taco standards are very high but other than that I like them , if they could change the tortilla to a different brand or something I’m pretty sure they’ll be much better, but what really made this a very pleasant experience was how nice the people working there were , really makes you feel welcome.“

“I'm visiting from England. My first time eating Mexican food. These quesabirria were simply one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Shared one to taste and then went back for more. If that were the last thing I ever ate, I would die a happy woman!!!“

“Where should I stick my fork first? These are good. They come with Guacamole AND Beans.
I’m pretty sure they would use ground beef before, but now you get the Chopped Asada! The Fries are good for fast food style, soft and filled with potato.
I like to get it without Nacho Cheese because I can taste the food more. You’ll still get the Shredded White Cheese. I also don’t get the Sour Cream because I like this food!
Price talk— right price for fries of this quality. The other asada fries that I like this much are in Bakersfield’s Old Town Kern.

One tip for Señior Taco: Today the fries had a bit too much seasoning salt.
Second tip for Señior Taco: careful not to let the Pico De Gallo sit for too long. You don’t want it to start fermenting.“

“This may have just became my favorite taco spot!! Met with smiles at the window, I had questions beyond my Spanish capabilities and the lovely woman’s english, yet the cook/owner/ man behind the counter was so descriptive and patient. Tuesday had tacos for a Buck!! So I ordered some carne asada and el pastor. I also needed to try the rice and beans, they tell a lot about a business. We added two canned Pepsis and for under $15 fed both of us well. The asada tacos were perfection!! Melt in your mouth perfection, the produce was fresh, the salsa was dynamite, and I could have put down a dozen. El Pastor was delicious only dimmed by the excellence of the asada. Then the tell all… the rice and beans l… they were done by a perfectionist taught by a grandmother, or Abuela in this case. Whole pinto “pot” beans were seasoned to perfection and the rice was what I’ve been searching for since my favorite restaurant closed a few years back. If you haven’t tried this truck, Do It! After hearing the love coming from the cook as he described what things were, I’m coming back, going back, may never leave. There’s so much more I need to experience. I’ll keep you posted. Good no no, I take that back, excellent food!! Great prices! Lovely customer service!! Don’t miss out!!“
