“First time visiting Luna and we liked the vibe. The host was a super professional and CLEAN in appearance (good looking young man) he sat us promptly and we had zero wait for a table at 10:30 on Sunday morning. Steve had a regular coffee and bougie me ordered a vanilla latte which was delish served with a foam heart which I’m a sucker for. have a super picky relationship with eggs over medium ( My dish said 2 medium eggs on the menu) my dish came with both eggs crispy brown around the edges and only one egg had runny yolk the second was cooked all the way through. The chef made me a softer egg with runny yolk but was browned crisp on all the edges. I didn’t hate it because the dish had Amazing spicy salsa beneath the eggs accompanied by toast. Steve had scrambled eggs with seriously THICK bacon that was smoked and unforgettably tasty. He had potatoes and a muffin with orange marmalade which he enjoyed. I think we liked the food and atmosphere so much we will return for lunch or perhaps dinner in the future. Don’t let my picky review put you off. I’m just a super picky egg eater, and we would totally revisit this restaurant.“

I recommend getting their green salsa and loading it on the beans and the tacos so yummy. If you’ve drove by and thought about stopping do so you won’t regret it. Plus the prices are great.“

“JUST GO, this is my first time having Jalisco style Mexican food and it won’t be the last. These guys do it right the owners are hard workers and the food is BOMB. The Jalisco burrito is the most popular thing for a reason, it sounds crazy with the steak, shrimp, and chorizo but trust me it’s amazing. Everything so full of flavor and just great definitely will be back when in town“

“8/10 did the job, I was craving for some Mexican food since I was in the area , I would like to point out I’m from San Diego and very close to the border with Tijuana so maybe my taco standards are very high but other than that I like them , if they could change the tortilla to a different brand or something I’m pretty sure they’ll be much better, but what really made this a very pleasant experience was how nice the people working there were , really makes you feel welcome.“

“I’ve only started coming here 2 weeks ago and have already eaten here 4 times. I’ve only had the burritos but I’ll assume tacos are even better. The burrito has the right amount of meat, rice and beans. Tortilla is very buttery, toasted and beans are creamy. The meat is cooked on the charcoal grill which gives it a great flavor. A hidden gem in Bakersfield. Not a place you’ll hang for hours but a cold beer and good meal why not! Clean and nice staff.“

“The carnitas are some of the best I have eaten in Bakersfield and priced better than most places. In twenty five minutes I saw at least fifteen cars stop and pick up meals by their regular customers(Owners knew them.) and that screamed volumes! It’s a Saturday and Sunday event and they close at 2:00 pm according to the signs.

“This may have just became my favorite taco spot!! Met with smiles at the window, I had questions beyond my Spanish capabilities and the lovely woman’s english, yet the cook/owner/ man behind the counter was so descriptive and patient. Tuesday had tacos for a Buck!! So I ordered some carne asada and el pastor. I also needed to try the rice and beans, they tell a lot about a business. We added two canned Pepsis and for under $15 fed both of us well. The asada tacos were perfection!! Melt in your mouth perfection, the produce was fresh, the salsa was dynamite, and I could have put down a dozen. El Pastor was delicious only dimmed by the excellence of the asada. Then the tell all… the rice and beans l… they were done by a perfectionist taught by a grandmother, or Abuela in this case. Whole pinto “pot” beans were seasoned to perfection and the rice was what I’ve been searching for since my favorite restaurant closed a few years back. If you haven’t tried this truck, Do It! After hearing the love coming from the cook as he described what things were, I’m coming back, going back, may never leave. There’s so much more I need to experience. I’ll keep you posted. Good no no, I take that back, excellent food!! Great prices! Lovely customer service!! Don’t miss out!!“

“Where should I stick my fork first? These are good. They come with Guacamole AND Beans.
I’m pretty sure they would use ground beef before, but now you get the Chopped Asada! The Fries are good for fast food style, soft and filled with potato.
I like to get it without Nacho Cheese because I can taste the food more. You’ll still get the Shredded White Cheese. I also don’t get the Sour Cream because I like this food!
Price talk— right price for fries of this quality. The other asada fries that I like this much are in Bakersfield’s Old Town Kern.

One tip for Señior Taco: Today the fries had a bit too much seasoning salt.
Second tip for Señior Taco: careful not to let the Pico De Gallo sit for too long. You don’t want it to start fermenting.“

They give you a variety of sauces some spicy but theres a few that are not as spicy. Great place to get authentic Mexican food.“

“My partner and I were enjoying our one full day off this week and decided to keep it simple: a Taco Bell delivery through DoorDash. No cooking, no dining out—just a relaxed day at home.

Everything was smooth until I realized I couldn’t customize items on the DoorDash menu. Since I have to avoid dairy for health reasons, this was a problem. I called the store directly and spoke with (I believe) Zane. Even though he was clearly busy, he was patient, helpful, and worked with me to make sure the “no cheese” notes were added to my order in real time.

That small gesture made a big difference. After a long week of work, it was a relief not to run into order issues or have to leave the house. Because of the service I received, I’ll be saving this Taco Bell as my go-to location moving forward.
