I made an online order for our potluck and picked up the food without checking it because I was in a hurry going to work. Ordered special offer with chicken and nuggets but at the time we open the food, the dozen nuggets are missing. Lesson learned: check your order before leaving.
$18.99 for 8-pc tenders. At $2.37 a piece I expect my tenders to be fresh. Not so fresh apparently. I got half and half. Four pieces that have been sitting under the heat lamps for I don't know how long, and 4 fresh out of the fryer. Wings have so much batter you barely have any chicken on the bone. Tooo pricey!I remember having this chicken as a treat during my childhood growing up. Now I know why we only had it occasionally; it's soo expensive. Twelve pieces (dark meat) of just chicken, cost us 19.99. I can bake two whole chickens for that price!Taste is still enjoyable, like I remember (MSG makes everything delicious). ALL in all, it was a nice visit to nostalgia. For my wallet's sake, I won't be coming back.
